Lovely winery with a very personalised wine tasting. LOVELY bar staff who are so friendly and can have a laugh with you. Walked out with 12 wines as they were so lovely and gave us a discount for the wine we purchased!

This has always been one of favourite wineries to visit based on they make exceptional wines that aren't the stereotypical varietals of Margaret River. I called in today and had an exceptional tasting with Sophie and Lucy. Their knowledge and banter is beyond those at other wineries. An absolute must go to if you're visiting.

Whilst LS Merchants wines are accessible through wine shops and restaurant/bar wine lists, it's always worth a visit to the cellar door to see and hear what makes them tick.
The atmosphere here is very casual and relaxed, with both indoor and outdoor seating. For $15 per tasting, one of the friendly staff members will walk you through a decent range of wines. It's immediately apparent that they don't take themselves too seriously, with wines that are fun and interesting. Case in point, the Die Berghain Riesling, Breakfast Juice and Butter Barrels.
But then you also have the 'Jolliffe Vineyard' Cabernet Sauvignon and Touriga Nacional, which remind you that the winemaker is no dilettante and takes his craft very, very seriously.

Wow! Cellar door with a difference. A heap of mad wine related things to taste. Just ask about the Berlin techno inspiration. Ended up buying several bottles and subscribed to more. Keep up the work ya legends 😀

Fabulous wines and even better staff. We came here on a recommendation from a friend and it became our favourite winery in Margaret River. The staff were so knowledgeable about the wines and the region, and made us feel so welcome. The range of wines was fabulous - from eccentric “Breakfast Juice” to exotic “Gewurztraminer” to the cosy Sangiovese. If you’re in MR and over tasting the acidic Chardonnay paired with a Winnie Blue then this is the place for you.

We had a fantastic tasting experience at LS Merchants. Lucy was an awesome host, sitting down with us to share a laugh and a story or two, and was very gracious with us being in a fairly “playful” mood from a prior tasting that morning. We look forward to going again :)

Love the non-pretentious and down to earth vibes this winery has. Sophie was an amazing and friendly host who taught us a lot about their natural wines. She also gave us good recommendations on places to eat around the area too.

We bought 10 bottles here. 100% recommend this winery.

A very cute winery that do some very unique things. Love the staff and how much love they have for their special vines. Super friendly people and very good wine.
Definitely worth a visit.

Dedicated crews. Different origins of wine sourced and grown in WA. Some of the upper lines in the list are a bit wet and may need a bit of tweak in distillation. Love the breakfast juice and Italian origin grown in WA shiraz 😊

Loved this little winery, shout out to the British bloke in the cellar door who noticed I looked cold and lent me his jacket, he also quizzed me on Harry Potter after noticing I was a big fan! It brought a fun twist to the tasting experience especially as I was by myself. The wines were nice, reasonably priced and the Riesling was a big winner in my eyes. Definitely “less wanky” than a lot of wineries I’ve visited in the past which is what they’re going for

We really enjoyed our visit to LS Merchants. The staff were super friendly and knowledgeable. The vibe was relaxed and the wines were bloody great. We went to a few wineries whilst in the area and this was definitely our favourite. Also love that they have a little local recommendations list of other wineries/restaurants in the area. They do charge for tastings but so do all of the wineries these days so I think it's reasonable. They were very accommodating to us non white wine drinkers and did reds-only option for half the price. Definitely worth a visit.

Interesting variety of wine. Not pretentious or stuffy. Great setting. Knowledgeable staff. Worth going a bit off the beaten track. One of the best in MR!

One of the newest wineries in the region, offering a casual laid back atmosphere but some seriously good wines. Staff are amazing and a fresh breath of air to the wine industry. Definitely worth the stop when your in the area!

Came here for a tasting with friends and our baby today and had the most beautiful morning. We were taken through 8 wines by a brilliant member of staff who was super friendly and knowledgeable, which we enjoyed in the gorgeous surrounds of the vineyard. The wine is absolutely delicious and it's so nice to go to a winery for a tasting where you have time to relax and take it all in. Will definitely come back!

Down to earth winery and people working here, shout out to Dylan! Not a pretentious place or people, good wine is the focus!
The wines are truly good, do yourself a favour and get down here. Slowly becoming more well known, they’re always experimenting and releasing different wines/varieties, i enjoy being surprised when I visit with something new.

we had sooooo much fun at our wine tasting at LS Merch, I'm sorry that I didn't get the name of the staff member who was leading the tastings that afternoon but it was on Sunday the 11th on June. I left with new knowledge about wines that I wouldn't normally absorb because of the language used during standard tastings but LS Merchants was non pretentious and easy to understand.

Absolutely adored our visit to this small and quaint winery on the weekend (mid July 2022). Not only was the service from Lucy and Declan fun, entertaining and highly knowledgeable; but the wines were quirky, unique and delicious. I regret not buying more! I will definitely be making LS Merchants my highest priority on my next visit to the region.

We loved our delightful tasting, the wine is all delicious and Sophie was fantastic. She told us lots about wine but not in a twaty way, highly recommend. Also, Sophie, when you're in London go to Hackeny and Dalston and also go to Peckham. Frank's is a rooftop bar where you get mega views of London without the bankers and pricey cocktails. Enjoy!

What an incredible little place! Sophie was 10/10, so fun and knowledgeable - really made the experience! Beautiful wines in a lovely atmosphere. Dog was super cute too!

I went to LS merchants with my wife and did a wine tasting with Bella. Bella was incredibly knowledgeable and extremely personable. Many wines were purchased, and we will return again for sure.
