Woolworths Hawthorn

The staff are always lovely. The store has the basics you need. Their clientele is mostly broke students and stoners especially at night. Lower your expectations and you'll be fine. P.S. Y'all Karens and Darren complaining about the panhandlers... they're across the road at Coles too. They're in Camberwell too. They're in the city too. It's called poverty.

Great service on a Sunday morning with the opening crew. Staff are very friendly and happy. Chams serves me every time with a warm friendly manner and has excellent people skills.

This is one of my favourite Woolworths stores. I love the size of the store it's not too big and love the set up. The workers have been so kind and ever so helpful. Its just quaint pleasant experience to shop at this Woolworths store.

I feel comfortable to find grocery items I need. Staff members are very friendly and helpful. You can talk to someone or ask someone about any product you are looking for. You will find a deli to buy fish and chicken. I would love to see some red meats in the deli. Different breads are available. Convenient for public transport and parking.

absolutely love this place, always come in my breaks and i went for a grocery shop and the entire place smelt like cookies, always friendly staff 👍 keep up the good work

Wide selection of products including fresh fruit/vegetables. I had positive experiences with the deli back before I became vegetarian. Efficient staff, and the self-checkout machines work well.

Great little supermarket. It is a bit smaller than most Woolies supermarkets, but it is well-laid out and carries a wide variety of goods. Great place for locals to do their weekly shop, or just to pick up something for a snack.

This is a smaller woolworths but nice and compact, easy to get around, well laid out and still a great range. You can park in the adjacent car park for an hour for free even though the signs say you need a ticket. Just press the button at the ticket dispenser to get the free hour. Too easy.

Good Woolies friendly and helpful staff, layout seems weird but it is a smaller store. Please keep your Woolies Cheescakes stocked cause the last 2 times I visited there was none left in the middle of the day people are absolute fiends out here thanks

Woolworths Hawthorn is a little on the smaller side, but still has a good selection of products and is very conveniently located near Glenferrie Station and Swinburne University. This is the biggest store inside Glenferrie Centre, and can be easily accessed via Glenferrie Rd, a little walkway through Don Arcade, and through the Wakefield St entrance which has a carpark.

It is neat and tidy, well laid-out and doesn’t get too busy so it’s perfect for locals

I wish to say a very BIG thank you to DAN in the Deli Department & Declan. Both gentlemen have incredible customer service , RESPECT and knowledge of the product .
Both are extremely helpful and always with a smile.
Together with Alfred - the 3 gentlemen make this Store the best in the area - almost like a Boutique Store .
It's a pleasure to shop at Woollies in Hawthorn . They provide great customer service that other Stores don't have .

good location, plenty of parking available,
staff is friendly, I went there to buy fish late night, saw that they cleaned the fish section, I asked the guy who was working there, if I can get fresh fish, he went to the fridge and show me all different types of fish what was available.

where as if you ask the staff at coles on glenferie rd, hawthorn, they decline to give you anything.....

I've had a really good 4 weeks of finding bargains and earning points. So I'm happy.

Small Format Store with limited parking, near Swinburne University so plenty of Students shop here. Overall helpful staff, just your run-of-the-mill Supermarket.

Convenient parking,quick in n out,, better than Coles across the road who shut down their car park entrance just coz they don't have enough staff :D

Great for quick shopping. Right next to the train station and is open late. A lot of fast moving self service checkout counters.

Cheap supermarket as like all woolies stores are, this one however has certain hot food you can buy as a cheap alternative to buying lunch in a cafe or fast food outlet. My favourite is the buffalo wings, 5 GIANT deep fried chicken wings for $5.50! You cant beat them these are awesome and cheap. Not all woolworths stores sells these yet ive noticed and these stores that dont or only sometimes put them out need to get their arse into gear and sort this out. Cos these wings should be available in every woolworths store. Yuuuuum.

Best woolsworth store with great discounts and reduced prices. However it's not a big store and have less varieties and will be recommended to viait the store by walk/ cycling

Items are easily found, staff are friendly, cashiers strike up conversations, free food for children, plenty of discounts and items to choose from.

Finding the stuff that I wanted to purchase was a breeze and the staff was very helpful when I wanted to pay via two different methods
