Downtown Grocer

Visited for the first time today and this place is really great. Unlike the other Asian grocery stores on Glenferrie Road, this one is well lit, clean, and everything is easy to find. It helps that the aisles are also quite wide. Even a trolley could comfortably navigate the stores. They also have a wide range of products and best of all, competitive prices.

One of the newer Asian groceries in the Glenferrie Road strip. The interior is bright, neat and modern. Very comprehensive selection of stock at reasonable prices. Lots of variety especially in frozen food, dried goods, condiments/seasonings, and snacks!! 🍦 I've seen stuff here that I've never seen at other grocery stores, great job with the choice of imports.

Clean and nice Asian grocery store with various options

You can buy most Asian grocery items. Includes a variety of Japanese, Chinese and Korean items. Has fresh produce including special vegetables used mostly for Asian cooking and fruits. Premium grade seafood and meat available. Entire Isle of cooking sauces, sushi rice and a variety of instant ramen options. (Including Buldak ramen) lot of frozen food such as dumplings, gyoza Korean corndogs, bao buns and even mochi ice cream. Well I can't really list all the items but you can pretty much find anything for Asian cooking (only Korean, Japanese and Chinese accordingto my knowledge) great option of spices, sauces, drinks, pickled items, fresh produce, frozen food, tea, Chinese New year food, candy, ramen and even beauty products. I bought a self heating hotpot. The store members helped translate the instructions and were very friendly. Highly recommend this place and will definitely go again.

Best Asian grocery shop in Hawthorn. Far better than others in this area. All staff are very friendly and helpful. Always have new products come in. Good one.
