Stepped into Toymate today on a quest for Christmas gifts for my 4-year-old - a spontaneous detour post-work. And wow, what a transformation! The store's new layout is like stepping into a wonderland - bigger, brighter, and brimming with toys and learning goodies that grow right alongside our little ones.

It's clear the owner pours their heart into this place; it's not just a store, it's a curated collection of childhood dreams. They're not just selling toys - they're answering our silent wishes for what our kids would love, not what we think they should have. The diversity of choices is like a rainbow of fun, imagination, and learning all under one roof.

Speaking of rainbows, my little one has dubbed Toymate the 'Rainbow Shop', thanks to its vibrant logo. It's become more than just a store to us - it's a weekend ritual, a magical destination. It's the Rainbow Shop adventure!

Went there for LOL dolls for granddaughters 6th birthday 🎂 They have a huge range of toys here.
A whole row of LOL dolls ranging from $10-$199 sets. And bonus they are on special.
End result 1 LOL doll birthday cake.

Excellent service. I phoned the store yesterday to see if they had a particular item as my local Toymate (Rockingham) didn't have it. They had one remaining and put it on hold for me. When I collected the item today the gentleman even carried it to my car and rearranged the items in the boot to fit it, leaving space for me to put my pram in. I would normally do this myself but I had a 12 week and almost two year old in tow. Thank you for going above and beyond.

Always had helpful staff right price easy store. Dean helped carry my things to the car and Miki was very helpful with sizing up my boy and his new trike!

Such a big store with friendly staff. We came in Boxing Day and there was one person on every till and staff were also attending to phone calls. Lots of stock as well. First visit and I am impressed!

Great variety of toys but price is also high as comparative to other shops like kmart, target or Big W.
Quality can vary but still these are toys so can be bought from kmart or Big W if you don't want to loose your pocket more.
Some range of toys at Toysmate is exceptional, you will not find toy of that kind in any other shop so paying money for that toy is acceptable.
I like Toysmate so go there every alternate month to check new variety and spend at least $50-$80. Not too bad.
In between, Kmarts and Big W toys for $7 to $20.

Love getting my fashion dolls here, always great deals and sales on them! Plus always well stocked so I can easily find the ones I'm looking to collect!

Just had the best experience with a young Lady by the name of Hely. She was so attentive and helpful beyond belief. Thanks to her I will be purchasing an item tomorrow. Seriously she should get recognition for outstanding customer service.

OMG! Amazing! So many toys, so much stock. Staff are incredibly helpful. If I had one teeny tiny piece of constructive criticism, it would be that a inventory or floor plan of where to find certain products wouldn't go astray. Otherwise, Toymate gets my tick of approval.

We went to toy mate in Cannington today kids had ball seeing any types of toys for all ages staff is very friendly and helpful I'll definitely be coming there to do my kids Christmas presents

This is a great place to shop for toys!!! They have a large selection of toys for all ages and some of them are a great bargain!! They even have few hard to find toys as well. Definitely my one stop shop for toys in the future.

My daughters always love to visit. Would be nice if the checkout staff knew about the donation system though. They have a big sign above the counter but none had a clue it existed making me wonder if they even do anything with toys donated or just put them back on the shelves.

I went to Toymate cannington to return one of the items without a receipt as my daughter threw them away. I paid cash the hence, had difficulty finding the receipt but the Mika in the counter was really helpful to find my actual receipt and to provide me a refund.
I was really impressed. Thank you for the best customer service.

I took my 4 kids to this store and we had such a nice time. The young staff are just lovely, so patient and helpful. We will go there again because the service is great. This is a huge improvement on the energy in previous years.
