A pleasant surprise in the midst of countless sushi places that pride themselves on luxury but forget about taste. A small but cozy restaurant. Polite staff, and simply wonderful food. I'm serious, it's the best sushi I've had in WA.

Really amazing place!
All the ingredients are fresh and tasty! Very thick slices of Sashimi. Tempura was crispy and nice too! I love their soft shell crab!
This place is not fancy B.U.T they serve beautiful food.
Service was good / very small restaurant

We love this place. The food is excellent, fresh and healthy. Great quality. We're always served with gentle respect. And it's great value for a mid-week evening out.

Really great but it is a very small space with only 12 chairs available. Staff were very friendly and food was made fast and tasted great.

Hoya is a quiet and homey space with about 5-6 tables. Great service and incredible food. Fresh made food including sushi. Awesome prices! Walked away with dinner + lunches for tomorrow for $60.

Humble hidden gem in Vic Park ran by lovely couple. Fantastic and authentic Japanese food. The salmon tataki literally melts in my mouth. So good! Definitely coming back again to support.

The food here reminds me of Japan! Also very small and clean.

What we had was very fresh, seems to be busy a lot of take away and people had to be turned away because it's full.

Love the beef dishes here.
Only downside is the place is quite small so dining in can be a problem

A hidden gem! Nice local Japanese restaurant. Small venue but you don't have to wait. Generous portion and friendly waitress. The food met my expectations overall.

I ordered an entree (takoyaki- octopus ball), dynamite sushi rolls and katsu chicken. The dynamite roll contains prawn tempura, cucumber, omelette, crab stick with chilli sauce and fish roe. It looks great and tastes nice too.

They have a good range of dishes. Definitely give em a try 👍🙂

A cozy small restaurant, friendly service, and delicious food. We had teriyaki beef, seafood pancakes, cooked tuna sushi and fried beef yaki noodles.

Best sushi rolls I've ever had and worth the price. I liked how the rice was warm when we ate them. There is very limited dining space so book ahead.

By far the best sushi place in Perth. I always eat sushi at least a couple times a week and ever since I tried this sushi joint I’ve tried to find another sushi joint that is comparable but haven’t found one. I’ve tried the ramen and udon as well as other dishes and they’re alright. The sushi however is always fresh here and is run by a lovely couple that are incredibly friendly. Their service is really fantastic and they are very generous with the serving size, (fairy priced too). I’ve eaten here about 6 times. Seating can be a bit small but it’s worth it for the food!i

Good quality Japanese/Korean food, reasonably priced. Fresh ingredients, rice cooked to perfection. Love the beef udon soup, dragon rolls, soft shell crab rolls & salmon sashimi. Great location. Easy parking. We love going there whenever we can't be bothered to cook. The foods are simple but satisfying.
