The Shorehouse

After being recommended this place by a couple of friends we decided to go here for a date night.

We had the scallops for our entree and they were succulent. The paprika butter that was served on them was just delicious.

I had the prawns for my main, and they were cooked perfectly. The saffron emulsion it was served in was amazing and all together was a beautiful blend of flavours in the mouth.

To end the date off, I had the lemon and burnt toffee tart. Equally just as delicious as the other meals and the olive oil gelato was surprisingly good.

I cannot fault our date here as the service matched the amazing food. The staff were attentive and we didn’t have to wait long to order more items off the menu. I cannot recommend this place enough and the views are a nice added bonus.

Food was good (had the crab linguine and market fish) and sunset view was amazing. Even if you don't take the alfresco seating, you can take in the sunset from the beach which is just a min's walk from restaurant. There is also a small public playground near the restaurant for kids to play while waiting.

Having heard so much about The Shorehouse, I thought it would be a great place to take our cousin who was visiting from Singapore.

Walking in, it was so clean and vibrant, overlooking the beautiful beach. We were welcomed warmly and the hostess was so kind and sweet with my children. Some of our party was already seated so we were shown to a lovely booth with a great view. When booking, I had asked for a nice table and it was definitely delivered. The hostess was a bit worried about our comfort and offered a bigger table with more space but we were perfectly fine being cosy together in the booth. The hostess immediately brought us a darling wooden high chair. With straps. High chair straps are so appreciated for my restless little, thank you!

Our cousin had unfortunately had a big lunch so we decided to share two entrees with our main meals. We decided on the scallops and croquettes. Both were delicious. For our mains I had the exmouth prawns, my husband and cousin had the crab linguine and my BIL had the lamb as well as an order of fries to share.

BIL got to the lamb before I could take a photo but he enjoyed it very much. I got to try the linguine and it was very nice. My dish was the best of the lot, the emulsion was an explosion of intense prawn flavour and the prawns were so large and delicious. I wish that they had an option of rice with the sides because it would have been perfect to go with it.

My littlest one devoured her share of linguine and her big sister had crumbed whiting and chips from the kids menu as well as a choccy milkshake. I love that there was a range of options that were not stock standard chips and nuggets, fish and chips etc. You can tell that they were made in house and not phoning it in by buying frozen kids options.

Our waitress Abby was so attentive throughout the night. I was so excited when she told me I could have a spicy margarita that was not on the drinks menu. It was actually one of the best I have ever had. I would return for just that cocktail alone to be honest.

When we were finishing up, Abby asked us how the meal went. I gave minor feedback and was not at all expecting her to comeback and take off some items from the bill. Quite honestly, I enjoyed the whole meal so very much and was really impressed and did not need that at all. It just goes to show that the Shorehouse truly cares about making sure that your dining experience is incredible from start to finish.

I think that my family and I will return over and over with the beautiful service, quality of food and gorgeous views. If I weren't already married, I would want to have my wedding here. Highly recommend a visit to the Shorehouse, a new favourite and in my top 5 in Perth.

Such a beautiful space!! Romantic super chilled can stay cool indoors or sit on balcony and enjoy the beach sunset food was yum will be back for date night!! Oooh try the chilli empress lychee cocktail super yum and spicy 🌶

Beautiful location, food and drinks. Professional, friendly staff with a knowledgeable sommelier on hand to assist with your wine selection. The generous deck allows you to soak up the sun and ocean views in a more casual manner, while the restaurant's expansive windows allow you to enjoy stunning sunsets over an evening meal. A little pricey, but well worth it.

Amazing restaurant close to the beach, with seating indoors and outdoors, and a cozy atmosphere with music that is never too loud or intrusive.
They offer enjoyable meals - for meatlovers and vegetarians alike - well crafted cocktails and a vast array of wines.
Their staff is friendly and attentive.
And they top it off with one of the best menus I have come across (in layout, guides and general appeal).
In short: we had a great time! 👍

I was actually going to write an email to say what a really lovely lunch we had. The food was so delicious and the service was friendly, thoughtful, professional and so efficient. We always love the atmosphere at The Shorehouse as it's so welcoming, relaxed and the views are of course amazing. I love that you can pop in dressed in your sandy beach kit or yoga gear. Excellent food, attentive and friendly service staff. Very well patronised by locals. Food were so well prepared. Oyster with chardonnay sauce was out of this world (first type eating oyster without lime nor tobasco) MUST TRY. First list of drinks. Plenty of free parking. This is a return trip wasn't disappointed a bit at all.

We absolutely loved our recent visit to The Shorehouse. We were escorted to our cozy table overlooking the gorgeous WA sunset. Our waitress was friendly, and knowledgeable and kept our wine glasses topped up all night (but not overly .... just right!). Hubby is coeliac, and we were surprised that the majority of the menu items are GF friendly. He literally had too many options!! He settled on oysters, octopus and then the stuffed chicken ... and happy to report no GF issues at all!! The ambiance was lovely and our visit to The Shorehouse topped off a wonderful WA trip. Wish we lived closer to visit more often! Highly recommend.

First time going to Shorehouse with no expectation, place was busy for a Wednesday lunch.

Ordered Scotch Fillet Steak, Gnocchi with Lamb Ragu & Roasted Cauliflower. Steak is perfectly cooked & taste good. Roasted Cauliflower also looked so fresh & tasty.

It was a good experience & food. Will come back surely

Great location, stunning view. Excellent service. Breakfast menu offers more than just eggs and avocado toast, like Togarashi spiced scrambled eggs, avocado smash, Danish feta, mustard leaves. Looking forward to returning for lunch or dinner, and trying their wine from the copper ice bath

I love this restaurant right on the beach and I visit it every time I am in this neck of the wood ! If you go for dinner book just before sunset , it is really stunning! Very friendly service and atmosphere. My lamb was really good as well as the 🦆 fat potatoes and the sourdough with smoked butter !

Had breakfast there and the place was l amazing. Was greeted by very attentive staff and given a table overlooking the beach. Food was served warm and promptly. Was pleasantly surprised that the bread had a wood fired fragrance to it. Had the crab omelet and it was bang on in terms of taste. Crab meat was nicely seasoned and could taste the crab. Only feedback was there was a few pieces of shell in the meat but it’s not a deal breaker. Coffee was served hot and nicely made. Decor of the place was nice and relaxing.

Probably one of the best brunch spots in Perth on a beautiful autumn day. Food was great, service was really good and the outlook superb. Seated inside or out is doesn't really matter but out on the deck on a beautiful Spring day is rather nice.

Highly pleased by the level of service, the ambience and the quality of the food and drinks. Went for my birthday lunch and it was the most memorable one. Booking is necessary unless it’s one of those very quite weekdays. Quite amazing interior decor and seating arrangements. Staff were all lovely, very friendly and a pleasure to talk to. Definitely visiting again for the best dining experience.

It was a fairly quiet ish Monday lunch for 7 but everything was lovely, the food and service, we weren’t rushed and we had a lovely long lunch
