I had a really good experience. I was pretty impressed by how big and well portioned the meals were for the price. I think you definitely get your moneys worth for the quality and quantity of the meal. Lea served me again and they’re always so nice and friendly, the service was amazing. I will definitely be coming back in the future :).

Decided to check this spot out after more than a few recommendations, it was so worth it! Lovely welcoming staff and a subtle retro anime vibe. The food was the best I've had on the Vic Park main stretch. Starting with the Cheesy Spicy Karrage was a bold choice as it was a huge portion, but it was cooked with love and you could taste that difference 🤩. Our pork and chicken dishes were so well made and every flavour jumped off the plate. A must try!!

Awesome fresh food and wicked decorations. Had the best feed plus drinks, couldn’t recommend this place enough. Staff were friendly and service was quick. Definitely coming back here soon

Really good food with a fair price. The best thing is that doesn't take long to get your plate after you ordered. A little bit too warm inside but was a really hot day.

Probably the closest experience I've had in Perth to a proper Tonkatsu restaurant in Japan, the standard Tonkatsu is visually appealing. They unfortunately don't have different cuts like in Japan, nor different breeds of pig but it's still satisfying given this is Perth. The cutlets are decent, although a little dry and in need of the condiments, the crumb crisp, and the katsu and side dishes presented similar to Japan.

The menu goes into different offerings of Tonkatsu like the very cheesy Cheesy Tonkatsu, a parmigiana version which i don't think particularly works for me, and a simple original Tonkatsu. In addition to that, there's chicken, seafood, and beef patty options as well as Don rice bowl versions.

Service is very friendly, and the venue is decorated quite loudly Japanese and manga. Overall, whilst wouldn't want to go there everyday, it's a good place to go back to for a craving.

Interesting place! I definitely want to come back and explore the menu. We ordered Cheese Tonkatsu Teishoku and Tonkatsu Teishoku. 😋 tender, tasty, crunchy, cheese 😋 very nice place and great customer service.

Delicious food, great atmosphere, price is good, prompt service. The bar area is also upstairs. I recommend this restaurant 👍

Had dinner here tonight and some of the best prawn katsu I have had. Try the seafood katsu or the spicy cheesy karaage. Delicious food and quick service and well priced. Thank you for a delicious meal and lovely experience.

This place was AMAZING!!! I will definitely be coming again omg the food was delicious I really hope we can get Uber Eats from here as this will be my top favourite place to get food from like you don't get how yummy the pork with cheese is with everything and the dip that you can put it in man writing this I kind of want it again 😄 I'd rate this place 10/10

Went here around the time of their opening. Food was well seasoned & cooked with good service. Would love to see more successes so they can get more seating as the line to get in was quite long and had to squish in with others.

Ka-ten is an amazing place to eat. The staff and owner are exceptional. They’re friendly, welcoming, professional and simply amazing to be served by. While there is usually a lengthy queue, it is worth the wait. If you want the highest quality Japanese fried chicken and pork, and pint glass sized high balls and all for a cost that doesn’t at all break the bank, I would highly recommend this restaurant.

The food was AMAZING!! Undoubtedly one of the most authentic Tonkatsu in perth - with the dining experience and atmosphere reminding me of a genuine restaurant in Japan. The service was lovely and very welcoming. Highly recommended and will be going back for sure!! 10/10

Finally visited this place which got a lot of hype - definitely worth it! We were lucky the queue wasn’t long on a weekday night - and oh well if you’re reading this you need to try this place. The cheesy pork katsu is very interesting with lots of cheese. My partner had the curry katsu chicken - omg this tasted delicious and comes with great portion. The Karagae chicken we had for sharing was to die for too - love the vibe and friendly service ☺
