MIYU Life Store

I was looking for some things my daughter could add to her school project on Japan - Wow - What a great store.
My daughter thought it was like Christmas.
So many cool things re Japanese Pop Culture, snacks, soft toys, stickers, pens etc
Good prices. Friendly customer service (even when we arrived not long before closing - much appreciated 🙏🏼)

The place has got a lot of cute stuff and cheap goods from Japan/China/Taiwan. Great place for window shopping or buying bargain quality goods.

Majority of the items are priced at $2.80. there are bargain bins and fancy Jap cosmetics which are cheaper and dearer respectively.

The staff are friendly and pretty which is always a plus plus! More importantly is if you used credit card you need to spend more than $5 to prevent a surcharge.

A really cool hole in the wall Japanese store! Thought it was like Daiso at first, but has many hidden gems for anime merch <333

This store is amazing! A huge range of snacks and drinks as well as pop culture items. I purchased a Genshin Impact character box, and my friend purchased some Demonslayer chopsticks. Both of us are very satisfied! Definitely will be coming back, no complaints whatsoever!

Really fun and relaxed environment at this place. You can spend a lot of time looking through their cute and unusual stock while listening to the upbeat kpop they play. Lots of snacks and drinks here not easily found anywhere else in Perth. A must visit if you are a fan of Japanese culture.

This place has so many cute things to buy, their products are reasonably priced and seem to be very good quality. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly. Even offering advice. The store is easy to walk to in northbridge and was quite quick to get through the checkout.... The aisle size is great and each area is jam packed with products. Apart from some which are written in Japanese only, but staff are more than happy to explain how the product is used...

All sorts of adorable items for a decently low price - majority of the items sold here are $2.80. This store is especially great for homewares & stationery. Would not recommend coming here for cosmetics as they are very pricey - $22 and up. Staff are very pleasant and helpful, store is very well stocked and organised.

This is my favourite store to kill some time in. They have everything from awesome face masks, household items, and quirky office garb all for the cheap. Everything is typically under $3 and the staff is so helpful. They are always quick to answer any questions. Love it!

MiYu is a $2.80 store similar to Daiso or Seria in Japan. (in fact, some of the stuff they have is from Seria if you look at the labels).
I am happy since MiYu is the first shop of its kind in Perth. It sells things of all kinds: beauty products, toys, drinks, snacks, electronics, bags, cutlery, containers, decorations and pet products. I personally like MiYu for their stationery and organisers: there are many cute boxes and containers that I use around my room to store pens and makeup products. It’s so much better (and cheaper) than Kmart! Japanese stuff is always high quality and innovative. They also have Korean and Japanese makeup and skincare products (but they are not $2.80). They have contact lenses as well. The makeup they have is just a little cheaper than CosmeHut, so I recommend checking out the makeup at MiYu beforehand. They also sometimes have small makeup sales (e.g. buy 2 for 10% off).
However, as someone who regularly visits Japan and knows Daiso off by heart, I don’t find MiYu to be that worth it since Daiso is a 100 Yen shop (which is around AUD$1.20). But nevertheless, MiYu is a great place! Take your kids and family there!

Super cute place with nice workers and a good amount of things and doesn't feel as squishy inside as daiso and other similar shops.
