Great place for a picnic and relaxing time since it’s not as busy as lake Daylesford. Follow scenic drive to the parking lot. There’s a tower at the end of the road and we can go up the tower. The garden is not very big but peaceful. Cafe and toilets are available.

Dined for brunch! The cafe ambience is lovely! Tried pesto Tagliatelle - must try! Love the smell of fresh pesto sauce, with generous serving! Also tried Dairyflat baked goods for takeaway - yum sourdough! Overall had a wonderful time here. Staff were accommodating even though we came at a busy time of day. Will definitely visit again!

Just a beautiful garden to walk around, have a picnic, hold a memorial, or just hang out in. Some amazing trees and plants, plus the Boronia glasshouse. Womat Hill Cafe is great, healthy food, coffee, wine, and lots of indoor and outdoor tables. It's really worth a visit.

Worth the visit. I wandered around at dusk to see the sunrise at the tower. Gardens are well set out with little surprises. Well maintained by staff and volunteers. Spotted no wombats but plenty of bird life. The cafe is a must visit

If you visit Daylesford town don't forget to visit this botanical garden. Either you can park your car in the car park and take a walk to enjoy the view and can take a scenic drive along the way. It will take like 1 hour to cover the park if tourists decided to take a walk. I recommend to visit it in the morning as you can enjoy the sun rising view too. It is one and half hour drive from Melbourne. And this is one of the must visit place.

Beautiful Cafe with indoor and outdoor seating. Good was very delicious as it is part of Alla Wolf-Tasker's venues. Freshly baked bread and pastries are on offer as well as other treats and merchandise from the Dairy Flat bakery. Wel worth a visit just for the gardens alone.

Beautiful gardens with lovely trees. Nice fernery walk and nice grounds to have a picnic. Old tower in the middle which you can climb up to the top with views. Also beautiful flowers in a green house to view. We enjoyed our time there

Fantastic location for an easy walk, with a few gentle hills and some sections with steps. We visited in early/mid spring and the flower and foliage were an amazing sight. There are plenty of spots to sit and relax and tonnes of photo opportunities. The Pioneer Memorial Tower was a great find with stunning views from the top. Keep in mind the stairs climbing to the top of the tower are steep and narrow.

Beautiful botanical Gardens near Daylesford. Plenty of historical trees, fernery and large glass house full of unusual Geraniums. Also plants are available to buy.

Really enjoyable stop-off. Quite a few areas to explore (well within walking distance) and dogs are allowed too which is great. A few conservatory areas, open-grassland and smaller passage walkways through fountains and sculptures.

There's a lookout tower which looks a bit creepy (graffiti everywhere), and some very narrow steps to the top, but great views once up there!

There's also a 'scenic drive' which is okay, but it's better experienced getting out of the car.

Worth a visit (less than an hour) if looking for something to fill the time.

Very nice park, with a confusing pedestrian access bit a magical feel. That cafe in the park has the best pastry and bread we’ve had in Australia in 12 years. Dog friendly and unexpected, it’s a must see place.

What a lovely place to visit! We stopped here for a picnic lunch as it was dog friendly - and ended up spending a couple of hours as it was so nice. You can climb a tower for lovely views and a fun spiral staircase. A lovely loop walks around the gardens past beautiful trees, plants and sculptures and I feel like we didn’t even discover all the hidden features. Really beautiful spot.
