Booked in for 6pm no problems on a Friday night, and space for the baby. Service was fantastic got real family owned and run vibes. Starters came out super fast and was delicious. And mains quickly after. Everything was amazing. The pasta and veal was out of this world. Check this place out if in Vic Park!

We're so lucky to be local to this long standing joint where the food is delicious, of good value and service is efficient and quick. Have been back multiple times this year and our family loves it, both the young and not so young. Highly recommended.

We came for an early Friday dinner. As we didn't make a reservation, we were allowed in provided we finished our meal by 7pm. That seemed to be sensible as we had an hour to order and eat our dinner. We ordered a penne brocolleti and a pizza, both of which were tasty. The food came quickly.
We hope to come again!

I chose this restaurant to host my 21st birthday event at and it did not disappoint!
The staff are so helpful and polite, the food was AMAZING! portion sizes are great and each dish came out with lots of flavour, the environment of the restaurant is fun and welcoming! Everyone left happy, full and content! i would definitely recommend this restaurant! Tasty food and all in all happy vibes😝😄😁

Great food in a traditional Italian restaurant. Good option if you are staying at the crown with kids, a very short uber ride away.

I've been here a few times now but this is the first time my son ordered from their kids menu, he was stoked that his meal comes with a drink and scoop of ice cream too 😁 My son really enjoyed his kids steak, he rarely finishes his meals but he ate all of his steak 😋 I love the Fettuccini Carbonara here, it's so nice and creamy but not over the top. Just perfect 👌

Highly recommend the Foundina cheese platter!
The pasta also is my favorite too.

We celebrated my sister's 50th birthday with a large group and had a wonderful night. The staff were very efficient, friendly and provided us with excellent service throughout the night. Nothing was too much trouble! The meals were served all together as a large group, the food was tasty with generous portions. We were able to BYO wine and birthday cake . We all left the restaurant having had a great night and we're all appreciative of the wonderful and warm service we received. Would highly recommend!

A wonderful venue. Staff very attentive as always. There is always a friendly welcome at Catalano's. We have been going there for years. Just popped in for lunch that day. Very affordable prices and the food is delicious. Highly recommended.

I like this place specially for lunch, always busy and that mean every dish very generous with fresh ingredients , excellent value for money, friendly staff fast service, huge menu to chose from , my Caesar salad with chicken delicious, la fungi fish typically Italian dish, very satisfied,well recommend:)

I haven't been to Catalano's in almost 40 yrs. The only thing that has changed is the location. The food was amazing, we could barely finish ours, it is such good value for money. I have a connection to the Catalano family, it was so good to go back and take my little family.

Best Woodfired pizza I've had in ages not watery and a lovely base. Calabrese Pizza would be a top suggestion.

All ordered meals were well reviewed by our 4 persons group.

Steak was tender and a well presented dish with great serve.

And if you are gluten free...no worries. Many choices available - pizza and pasta all available in gluten free. Most main courses can be gluten free or restaurant was very helpful to accommodate changes.

Will I travel the distance and go again?? Absolutely. Wasn't disappointed

Returned recently after a change of ownership. Dramatic drop in the quality of food and servings. Very disappointing 😕

Always a great selection of fabulously fresh food. Large portions, All dishes we've tasted have been delicious.
A little noisy at times.

Pretty good Italian restaurant. The star was undoubtedly the margherita pizza. The chewy pizza base and just the right thickness was gorgeous. The cheesy notes in the carbonara were great, though I’m not very keen on bianco pasta. I enjoyed the tendered calamari paired with a delicates Rose. However, the Irish coffee left me disappointed. The alcohol taste overpowered the coffee flavour. Would love to try the desserts next time.

Although its a tight squeeze, the owners have very much made it an amazing place to hence i have been going since 2021. I always recommend it to friends and others. Beautiful place with beautiful helpful people. Also an affordable prices considering what they sell and decent portions. Can't complain at all. 5/5
