Best Western Plus Buckingham International Hotel

The staff were extremely friendly, helpful and accomodating. The rooms are clean, nicely furnished and well maintained. It is close to shopping, restaurants and not far from the beach. I would highly recommend to those traveling or working in the area!

Stayed one night while traveling for work, room was clean and comfortable. Lucy at reception was extremely helpful and friendly when checking in. Amazing service. Will definitely be staying again next time.

We had a townhouse that was just around the corner from the motel section. The staff were awesome. We arrived at around 1:30am but the staff weren’t irritable with us for getting them out of bed. So much appreciated! There was a lack of information about after hours checkin though.
The townhouse was clean and very suitable for our whole family. Oh man did we appreciate the coffee supplied when we woke up later that morning!! There was a bathroom with the shower above the bath and the ensuite was a walk-in shower, but they are both upstairs unfortunately. There is a toilet downstairs with 1 bedroom downstairs and 2 bedrooms upstairs. There is a toilet separate from the main bathroom. The street is very narrow and at the time, Nov 2023, there were workmen building across the street, so we had to ask them to move their vehicles to allow us to get our vehicle out of the driveway. There are plenty of shops nearby, but we didn’t use any of them except for Woolworths.

Good solid place. It is modern enough, very clean, and the front desk staff were very friendly and helpful.

Loved staying here, was very accommodating for my husband and I’s needs. Easy to contact re: room issues and quickly resolved. Thank you kindly!! Will be back for his next business trip.

Very nice place to stay as long as you're not in one of the rooms backed up to the train line.

A fantastic and relaxing stay room were great only problem was with our shower head it leaked but that's my only complaint. Overall great place would stay again if in the area for sure 😀

Decent rooms, decent service and a fairly good location, but if you are planning to travel into the city without a car, try to find somewhere closer to a train station.

Great location and Great staff members. The room I stayed in was nice, ONE thing I hate is the tiny little milk cups. What a waste of time. But Great motel to stay at.

Incredibly comfy bed and rooms are perfect for a night or lengthy stay. Ample parking and close to a major shopping complex and not too far from the CBD. Train station isn't far away if can't be bothered driving. Will always stay here if we are in that part of town 👍

Had dinner in the Restaurant to serving and the Food was outstanding. I was visiting a friend from interstate who was staying at the Hotel. I would definitely go to the Restaurant again even if I was not staying at the Hotel. I am from a Restaurant background the food and presentation was superb.

Had my wedding function here on the 10th of December and couldnt be more happier and proud for choosing them, such a wonderful service from Manju (the event manager) and his team. From the canapes, the courses of meal and the unli great choices of drinks. Highly recommended

I haven't stayed here but my parents visited for 8 nights and got a good deal, they were extremely happy and plan a yearly visit so they'll be staying here every time. We had dinner in the restaurant which is quite fancy. Smaller menu with quit high prices, portions are quite small but are delicious! Would definitely eat here at least one night if you stay.

A great place to stay at when you travel to Melbourne for sightseeing! The location is very convenient as it’s at walking distance from the Highett train station. There’s a Westfield shopping complex nearby. The area around doesn’t have much traffic on most days so you can even travel by car. They offer free parking on site, which was a major plus. We checked out early in the morning, and checking out was as easy as dropping the access card into a box. We didn’t have to wait for staff to be present at the desk. Overall, we had a great experience at the hotel. Definitely recommend it.

Absolutely loved my stay here. very clean , cozy and great value for money. The staff were friendly and accommodating, Mincy in the front desk was very helpful and assists wherever she can, always promptly and efficiently. Would definitely stay here again!

This hotel is a hidden gem in Melbourne. Close to beaches, Southland shopping centre and not far from outer beaches too.
We booked 3 rooms for our group and it exceeded our expectations. The building itself looked something from a little English village, old style and full off beautiful green trees all around. The rooms were very modern, immaculately cleaned and almost 5 star quality in comfort & convenience. Extra(free) Foxtel channels were an unexpected bonus.
The pool could be updated but nonetheless provided hours of enjoyment for the kids& adults needing to cool down. Staff went above and beyond to help with extra towels/toiletries.
The best thing about the hotel was the security. The front entrance was only accessible via room key after a certain time at night giving us peace of mind.
The only fault was not booking this for longer!
Will definitely recommend it & will be coming back in the near future.
