Absolutely amazing! The food, the vibe, the people, especially the people have made our night! Super welcoming, attentive - our host for the night was Ardel (with coke magic tricks!) , with the team Aljohn, Marwell, Kirby and Mark! It’s hidden at the back of the cinema, food is amazing - must try the Linguine Busara! Fireworks!

There is not enough stars on the rating system to give, these guys are amazing and the attention to detail is impeccable. We had great seating and the food was delicious. Absolutely magic. Thanks for having us and we'll be seeing you again. Our meals were great, vegetarian options were readily available and the desserts are lovely.

My first time at Vaporetto and wondered why I did not try earlier. We ordered the king fish as a starter, seafood squid ink pasta and the soft shell crab risotto for mains. All were amazing and the waiters were friendly and really took care of us. Definitely coming back again and can't wait!

Birthday dinner prepared by hubby :) Had a very enjoyable dining experience with great food, feel comfortable, and welcome. Love the scallops starter, and both ravioli and risotto are also very well put together. Tiramisu was very smooth and delicate. I would recommend those looking for high-quality Italian food with reasonable pricing 😊

Very delicious Italian food. Got the duck ragu which was very nice but just tiny bit salty. The squid ink pasta was good the first time but not as good the second time when the menu changed. The beef Cappacio was fresh, delicious and good as well the other sides were good too. The staff were very professional and friendly.

Food and drinks perfectly complemented each other and we ended up with an amazing panna cotta to end the meal.

We had an amazing experience ! Came back after few years and we can tell the new management is doing a great job. Very friendly atmosphere and food was super good ! Ravioli and Chicken with potatoes for dinner , the best. Finished it with Limoncello ( must try ). We were lucky to meet Ardel ( bartended ) who looked after us ! Great person and very knowledgeable in any type of wines .

Walked past here a million times but first time here with the family. Dined in the Al Fresco area and it was wonderful. Food was amazing. We had the Linguine Busara, Ravioli and the Lobster and prawn pasta special - simply delicious.

You boys… you boys just made us feel so special and cared for. The food EXCEPTIONAL!!! Squid ink linguini and the scallop with blood sausage were divine!!! I would have loved a slice of bread to mop up my sauce.
Only thing I needed was a full length mirror in the bathroom…. But that’s me being vein hahaha….
The cocktails menu was on point, as was the very knowledgable barman 😉🍸
We will be back …. Worth the 2 hour drive!!!

My third time at Vaporetto Bar & Eatery Hawthorn, this time to celebrate my 29th birthday. We got the Express Lunch. I had the Agnello Tonnato and the Linguine "Busara". Both were delicious. I loved how fresh they both tasted. The Busara had a generous selection of pippis, mussels, scallops, and prawns. The Linguine is also hand-made with squid ink. Depending on where you sit you can observe their chefs in action and see how hard, fast and systematic they work. I had an Amaretto Sour to compliment my meal which was refreshing. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Vaparetto to anyone.

As an Italian food expert, I must say my experience at Vaporetto Hawthorne was nothing short of divine 🌟, truly a gem for Venetian cuisine enthusiasts.

From the moment you step in, you're greeted by an ambiance that whispers Venice in its charming allure 🎭. The menu is a delightful voyage 🚤 through Venetian flavors, each dish rich in authenticity.

The Scotch Fillet 🥩 was a revelation, tender and bursting with depths of flavor, while the Fish of the Day 🐟 was cooked to perfection, fresh and succulent.

The staff exudes warm Italian hospitality 🤝, making you feel like a cherished guest in a Venetian household. It's not just a meal but a cultural sojourn at Vaporetto Hawthorne - undoubtedly the best Italian Venetian experience in the area! 🇮🇹✨

While the food is the quality you would expect at this price point, we were blown away at the kids portion of beef Ragu. Even though the waiter said it was entree size, it was definitely similar to the gnocchi. The gnocchi was one of the better gnocchi I had, very soft & fluffy. Such a shame we didn't try their dessert. Happy they are able to accommodate our table of 8 with 2 babies despite the lack of space.

Great Italian restaurant! Never disappointed me, always serves fresh pasta with high quality ingredients. Lovely staff team, great drink list too! Remember to ask for their off-menu weekly special!

Despite the rain outside, we had the delightful opportunity to enjoy a beautiful lunch in the cozy warmth of a bustling Venetian restaurant. The ambiance and flavors combined made it a truly memorable experience. The highlight of the day was undoubtedly the chocolate mousse which added the perfect sweet note to an already delightful dining experience.

The food was amazing. The service was the best, the staff went above and beyond. When we paid for our food they offered us free limoncello shots.

Great service, food and ambience.

They were extremely busy but still their service didn't lack anywhere. Especial thanks to Ardel who looked after us throughout and made us feel really special.

Fantastic experience. If you’re looking for a journey to Venice then try this one out! There are couple of Italian restaurants in town that specialize in ‘Venetian style’ which serve authentic food, but Vaporetto is the only one so far that really shows the hospitality of local Venetians. Thanks David, Mark, Marwell and the extremely welcoming team for this. Especially for Mark - a boss would be lucky to have you as such an engaged staff member.

Onto the food. Must try their scallops, and I got that for both entrée and in pasta.

- Seared scallops: fresh and tender, which balanced well with the sauce.

- Linguine Busara: a very typical Venetian dish. Perfectly al dente, loved the sauce which was not too dry, rich, yet not very salty. Seafood was all fresh.

- Mocktail: fruity and refreshing. Fit well into summer time.

This is now my go-to place if I’m around there. Definitely come back for more surprise. Thanks.
