Punyelroo Caravan Park

We decided as a last minute weekend getaway for my birthday to take our new pop up caravan on its first trial run. We were not disappointed at all. We booked a powered river front site where we woke each morning to beautiful sunrise's looking over the beautiful water. we were greeted by friendly Kookaburra's in the morning and lots of Kangaroo's each night. A golden sunset against the cliff face in the distance. The park was clean, neat & tidy and the owners were accommodating & friendly. We can't wait to come back again soon!

This park is fantastic! So accommodating, beautiful location and has everything you need for a great time away. Definitely recommend staying here on your travels. Dog friendly too which is fantastic 😊

Had great service by the manager and is a fantastic location and good sized sites. They have done a lot of work to bring back the grassed area with playground since the floods. Hopefully the rest is completed soon. Plenty of carp to be caught. Had a great stay!! Well done to this park.

Great little Park, great service with very friendly staff. Quiet n serene, plenty of roos around. Pet friendly, a credit to the staff/owners.

We have been paddling the Murray and enjoyed 2 great nights at Punyelroo Caravan Park. Owners couldn’t be more helpful to us and did everything to make sure we had a great stay. If you are looking for a relaxing stay then can recommend Punyelroo Caravan Park.

We are in our 5th year of full-time travel and have stayed in many Caravan Parks around Australia. We welcomed the grassed site close to the river for our harness trained cat and lovely river views. Punyelroo is off the main road and quiet (except for the loud & obnoxious behaviour of a family group on the weekend - they were asked to leave).
During the week, it was very peaceful with lots of birdlife & kangaroos at night.
Manager Glen was friendly and very helpful and clearly invested in maintaining a clean tidy park. Thank you for making it available to travellers like us

Beautiful location on the Murray River. Night sky is amazing for all you star gazers. Kangaroos visting every night.

Beautiful spot. Park is well underway to all the repairs following the recent flood. Park staff are very helpful and lovely people to deal with. 😊 sites are big.

Great spot for a relaxing few days

6 vans from the "Southerly busters" caravan club from NSW on a Murry River trip, the owner was great, very helpful friendly and chatty, location was superb, wouldn't hesitate coming here again solo or with the club, don't be influenced by the previous 1 star review, he was an arrogant, disrespectful patron who was evicted, for his behavour, hence his bad review, top top spot,

Had the best time, beautiful views, chilled area to camp.
Owners were great and super friendly. Definately worth a visit. Will be back.

Camped here with a group of friends for 4 nights. Such a lovely spot on the river with clean facilities. Will definitely be back.

Just spent 3 nights at a powdered site by the river and it was just perfect. So relaxing, such a beautiful place, owners friendly and bathrooms clean. Saw lots of kangaroos, place full of birds and pelicans, even saw an echidna! We will be back 😁

Woodchester Tennis club

Great spot to get away, only spent a night out there in a cabin but didn't have any issues. Everything was clean and the staff were friendly. Would definitely go back for a longer getaway at some point in the future.

We parked our RV on nice grassed area overlooking the river. Lovely friendly service.

It's the perfect getaway. It's very relaxing and peaceful. Very friendly family caravan park. Loved going out on the river with our friends who own a shack.

WOW!! We loved this caravan park. Staff were friendly, check in was easy. This is one of the most peaceful places I have stayed in Australia. Was beautiful waking up in front of the river, watching the pelicans and sunset. We went for an adventurous hike from here. We were able to access the ferry 24/7 to drive out to other spots for night photography of the stars which are amazing out here. Will definitely stay here again, highly recommend this place for those whom need to wind down and experience some serenity.

Lovely caravan park right on the Murray River. Amenities were a bit tired but always clean. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
