Big Bend By Night

This was incredible! Can’t recommend doing their tour enough. David and his wife are so kind and helpful, truly amazing people. We got a clear view of the milky way and some nocturnal animals too. So glad we were able to do it.

What a great experience. We enjoyed the nocturnal tour with clear sky views and we got close and personal with kangaroos, wombats and a cheeky emu that they have rescued. Dave was a awesome host, very cheeky, entertaining and let my wife attempt to shear a sheep. Now that was funny.

Great night out. Appetizers & drinks down by the river was just beautiful. Main course of steak & chocolate mousse for dessert very yummy indeed. Whip cracking lessons was a great laugh & had fun going for a after dark night tour in the cart. Very friendly hosts, highly recommended 😄

What a great experience,the night tour was amazing with a wealth of knowledge about the area and animals. We also did a day trip with Mardi to the Monarto Safari Park, Hahndorf for lunch and shopping then onto a cheese and chocolate establishment. I would highly recommend these tours, lovely local people with a fantastic knowledge about the area.

This was a big highlight of our weekend up the river, excellent tour, very entertaining and engoyable.
Our guide David gave us a great night tour spotlighting some local fauna including wombats and roos. Then a gaze at the brilliant night sky.

Overnight stay on the boat and an entertaining visit to a sheep station. This is part of the Murray River cruise which is a must do tour.

THE BEST WAY TO SEE THE BEAUTIFUL BAROSSA VALLEY
(The conversion of the reluctant tourist)

Having driven the Barossa valley many years ago I though I had seen it all, so therefore I was a somewhat reluctant traveller for a bus tour through the region...as usual, my partner Jan prevailed and so we spent a day away from the PS Murray Princess (see my review) to re-experience the vineyards.

What a surprise!!

Our driver David is a masterful story-teller, and allowed me to experience this region with fresh eyes...the history and the culture of this beautiful part of South Australia.

Great lunch at the Company Store restaurant, an educational visit to Chateau Yaldara, where the wine flowed like the Mighty Murray...my fellow passengers were as delighted by the entire trip, and David, aided and abetted by the lovely tour guide Kelly (a dead-ringer for Cate Blanchett), provided a remarkable day and some warm wine-dipped memories.

So, if you want to visit the Barossa and make new friends, the Big Bend dynamic duo are the go!
