BUTE CORNER STORE

What a hidden gem. Had probably the best chicken burger with the lot that I would rate in my top 5! The store had everything you needed. Loved the frozen meals section - awesome for campers about to head North to take a few prepared meals with you on your journey! Great idea.

We visited the Bute Corner Store after visiting the towns lovely silo art today. We were warmly greeted on arrival by Josie, who helped us choose our lunch - chicken schnitzel burger for hubby and veggie burger for me. Both were delicious! We were then assisted by a lovely gentleman named Bill, who gave us the hot tip on all the best cakes and slices - we walked out with a slice, a muffin and two home baked cookies - all of which have since been devoured - and were delicious!! The store has everything and more that anyone travelling through town could possibly need. Thank you Bute Corner Store - we enjoyed the food and friendly staff very much!

There is a difference between fast food and good food with great service. This place definitely is not a fast food place but a great place to stop and enjoy a good meal. Don't rush past it but enjoy the change of pace.

Holidaying around the Yorke Penninsular and stumbled upon the "Beaut" Bute Corner Store. Stopped for a cup of coffee and ended up grabbing something to eat as well. Coffee was great and the meal just as good. Very deceiving from the front. It's bigger than it looks. There is a lot of goodies packed on the shelves and the home cooked food selection is great.

More than a corner store, it's a village centre with a general store, cafe, takeaway food and a social meeting place with a piano.

My wife and I on a trip through Bute stopped for lunch at the Corner Cafe. Food, coffee and service all were excellent. People were very friendly. Place was clean and well stocked for a country Cafe and market. We'll be stopping back our next time through. Thank you for a pleasant experience.

Among many changes, businesses closed, one thing remains constant and that is the Corner Store. I used to live at Barunga Gap, and walked to Bute from there, when my car wouldn't start, so remember it well from then. Reminiscing the other day i visited and found it was still going and not being "stale", but rearranging and moving on. Great work people! Blessings!
