My partner and I stayed one night in the Peony tiny home and had a wonderful stay. The tiny home was surprisingly spacious and had a lot of attention to detail. We had the extra package, including dinner, fire and star tour. The food was good quality and was lots of fun to cook it ourselves on the hot plate. We were able to find lots of cool things in the sky with the telescope and were regaled with entertaining stories around the fire by Mike. Mike took care of everything and went above and beyond to ensure we had a lovely and relaxing time away. Would definitely recommend to all our friends and family. Thanks again!

My partner and I stayed for two nights in the Sakura tiny house. We had a wonderful weekend - the tiny house was welcoming, clean and innovative. Despite its small size, we were surprised at how spacious it was - we never felt that we didn't have more than enough room! Michael has filled the tiny house with incredibly thoughtful touches, including complimentary sweets and a jar to collect some salt from the pink lake. The house is also intelligently laid out and had everything that we needed. Simple touches such as a handrail for the loft stairs show how much care has gone into the design. My partner and I have stayed in many tiny houses in SA and this is by far one of the best! We had a great time sitting on the deck, having a drink and admiring the lake. The location was great and we had a great time visiting some wineries in the Clare Valley and checking out the escape rooms in Blyth (that we discovered in the guest book - there were so many great ideas of things to do!). The only drawback is that you are very close to the main road and it can get a bit loud at night with trucks, but we found that it was only a minor issue and didn't negatively impact our stay.

The Tiny house experience was fantastic. Michael was the host above all others. He catered for everything from greeting us on arrival, supplying welcome drinks, organising the Korean BBQ and breakfast.
We had the Peony house that was well laid out (Queen bed downstairs and 2 x futon beds up in the loft), very clean and everything you required to say for a night or a few days. Views across the road of the Pink lake were nice and helped with the relaxation.
Night time bonfire was lovely, toasting marshmallows, chatting with the other guests and Michael looking after everything. Couldn't ask for a more relaxing time.
Recommend it to anyone wanting to experience a Tiny house stay.

Had a nice little getaway over the weekend and it was amazing to say the least.

Let’s start with the location. Beautiful spot with a nice little history to it. Both mornings we woke up facing the sunrise on the horizons of the lake. Walking distance from the house to the lake? Literally 2-3 mins walk across the street. (Will touch on this again later). For those of you with a wonderful camera, please bring them with you as the night skies here is amazing since there is barely any light pollution.

The house build itself is nice and cozy. “It’s on wheels!!” was my first thought seeing it up close but don’t let that fool you! It’s a lot more spacious than I initially thought. Sure there isn’t a full sized dining table for 6, but the hosts made sure it was convenient enough for us to have our meals on the deck or by the fire place. A full sized toilet and kitchen space too!! You get my point. We had everything we needed for comfort.

Back to the location. Yes it’s next to a freeway. Is it noisy? I’d be lying if I said we didn’t hear traffic. BUT the hosts were thoughtful enough to have provided ear plugs. Did I need them? Not really. Sure, there was traffic even at night but the hosts also had a portable Bluetooth speaker we could use to serenade ourselves to dreamland and for that I’m really grateful. Nothing beats good company, music and food. As for food, bring your own. You want a peaceful getaway? You’re bound to be in the middle of nowhere/somewhere secluded. Can’t be bothered cooking? Clare is about 30 mins away by car. Vineyards along the way and nice cafe spots too. Google is your best friend. We found a couple of spots that we’re really fond of.

Now for my final verdict. You’ve probably guessed it right. Will I come back? Most likely. Do I recommend? Yes, definitely!!! I do however hope you have an itinerary planned ahead of time before visiting as it can be frustrating to have some of the surrounding gorgeous spots closed at the time of your visit if you’re looking for some adventure around the area.

To the hosts, cheers and thank you, it was a lovely trip and I enjoyed it very much. We look forward to our next visit.

Had a lovely stay Michael went out of his way to ensure we were well looked after. The food was amazing, great wines to top it off. Accommodation well set up modern and clean and a nice deck to sit and watch the world go by. Relaxing by the campfire with entertaining conversations with Michael with his journey in the tourism industry here and overseas covering a wide range of topics and solving the worlds issues one drink at a time.
Great to support a local businesses that truly puts in 100% into making the guests experience a memorable one.

Highly recommend.

The Pink Lake Tiny Houses are amazing. It was the perfect stay with everything catered for. The house was immaculate, beautifully decorated and with everything you could need and with a view of the pink lake right in front. The Korean bbq was to die for and Michael was the perfect host. He greeted us with wine and after the bbq we did some star gazing and then sat around a campfire and toasted marshmallows. Truly one of the best holiday experiences we’ve ever had. Thank you so much Michael it was the perfect holiday.

Had an excellent experience stay at the Pink Lake Tiny House. Mike was a fantastic host and was full of "Dad jokes" and entertaining stories! His Eminem impression was a sight to behold..... The Korean BBQ was a great idea and the food we cooked was delicious. The campfire and marshmallow toasting was also great fun, especially on a freezing cold night.
Unfortunately there's a fair bit of truck noise from the highway but the views of the Pink Lake and the "Mike Bean Experience" made up for this.

The Pink Lake Tiny House was an experience that I family won't forget.
The host Michael took care of every detail to ensure that we had a great stay.
From the beautiful view, fantastic tiny house, delicious dinner and roasting marshmallows by the fire under the stars (when permitted), we recommend this to any couple or family looking for a unique experience within easy reach of Adelaide.

My partner came to stay for 1 night, Michael is the ultimate host, he is so welcoming, kind and gracious and nothing is too much trouble and he pulls out all the stops. Its a beautiful tiny house the japanese themed Sakura. Its decor is Japanese inspired and the beds are true tatami flat mat style but, are snuggly and cosy. The heater worked a treat, it is comfortable and spacious with all the mod cons for a tiny house, it is also very clean and neat and tidy. The korean/ japanese bbq style dinner was delicious and so much fun, with plenty of food and ingredients and the paired wine was excellent. We loved the star talk and moon gazing around the camp fire with Michael and the other guests. We enjoyed walking by the pink salt lake. The only thing is the noise, the trucks just didn't stop, the whole time its very loud and noisy. Which is such a shame, as the tiny house is located on the a national highway.
But once your inside and crank some music you block them out and wear ear plugs to bed, to sleep.
We truly had a lovely stay and recommend it, but be warned with how noisy it is.

We had a wonderful stay at the Pink Lake Tiny House. Michael was a wonderful host and gave us the most wonderful experience. My son loved the campfire and the talk about the stars and space. Would love to come back again - it’s got the most spectacular view of the pink lake too.

OMG I totally loved this experience. I really was not expecting anything special but this completely surprised me! The owners have done an amazing job and this has definitely been one of those places I will remember always! I loved the layout and attention to detail. A great place to experience. Even the noise from the main road isn’t that bad at all…….they even supply earplugs if it is. My 8 year old loved it too with the rooftop bed and games….especially the karaoke machine. Stayed 2 nights. Visited an amazing Italian restaurant in Clare (Ragu), Mintaro Maze was fantastic and a visit to North Beach Moonta. A bit of driving around but its a beautiful country side! You have to try it! Thank you so much to the owners for making it a memorable experience!👍

Great location!Clare Valley and Copper Coast are all within 30 min to 1-hour drive. Breath-taking scenery of the lake Bumbunga and Lochiel hill lookout. The tiny house is very clean and modern with a lots of thoughtful touches. Love the sunrise view from the comfortable loft bedroom window and the cozy egg chair on the desk.

Extremely neat and highly thoughtfully designed. Beautifully located across the lake, so we had magnificent views of the sunrise and breathtaking views of the lake when the sun set behind the house. Spent 7 nights and it was awesome. Utilities were as described but only realised how useful and thoughtfully provided when we started using them. We got our own food, as the nearby cafe was closed. Slept with a view of the starry sky due to a skylight, which was beautiful. Despite a very hot week in December, the aircon kept it cool as it uses solar. Hot water was instant, shower stall was roomy and the bathroom very spacious. Check-in and check-out was smooth. Our host was constantly in touch and made sure were comfortable for our stay. Highly recommend it and will definitely return for another stay.
