The Timboon Pub And Hotel

Best pub meal I have ever had.... and I have been to a lot of pubs 😉
4 of us had different meals and they were all equally awesome! I had the lasagne with vegetables and chips, I could not get enough. Just like a home cooked meal only better!
Staff were all amazing too 🥰

Friendly country town pub with great staff, a wide selection of tap beer and full tab amenities.
Prices are very competitive.
Operating hours seem better than most small town pubs.
Friendly atmosphere. Thinking of trying a meal from the wonderful menu lunch/dinner.
Highly recommended that you stop in while in Timboon and judge for yourself.

I didn't think pubs like this existed anymore. Excellent meals(some great old style pub meals), very, very affordable, a great atmosphere, and much loved by the locals. This is a great pub. ++

We arrived late after visiting the 12 apostles and we had nowhere to eat! The staff were so kind to whip up fish & chips for the family even though they had already closed the kitchen for the day. We are so touched by the warm and sincere hospitality to a group of weary travellers with kids!!

Great large meals! Caters lunch and dinner, wide range of beers and wines. Chill pub vibes, has nightly specials!

Delicious food! Even simple chips taste just great! Moreover, very nice Chef! He overheard as we asking for dinner before the kitchen starts (it is 6pm as we know now) and came over to ask what exactly we would like to eat to check if he is able to do it now. Thanks fully he was! I had calzone and my partner burger. Highly recommend

A sleepy little country pub. A really relaxed atmosphere, staff are friendly, prices super cheap and good quality food. Can’t go wrong!

Hospitality and food are good. I loved the interiors of this place which takes you back and pictures can tell history of Timboon. They have a pool table and best part is its open till late compared to other places in Timboon.

Fantastic stop on the way to the city. Found the kitchen open at 8.30p.m.and surprising that the meal was absolutely delicious, wholesome and home style. Generally a good vibe and nice folk, great taste in music as well..

Nowadays seems to be called The Railway View hotel and bistro. We were a party of 4 and went for a dinner on our Great Ocean Road trip (short stopover in Timboon). Nice place and friendly service. Due to 2 big groups before us the waiting time was longish but the staff was very nice in keeping us informed and offered additional drinks for the wait. Most importantly the food was really tasty and well prepared. Will be happy to visit again and can recommend the restaurant.

The food was amazing, the staff were friendly and they had ACDC playing in the background while we were having dinner... What more could you ask of a pub? Nothing, everything was great!

HUGE Meals, great quality, friendly staff and an affordable price! Traditional Aussie pub and the place to visit on the Great Ocean Road. Ripper of place to eat!
