What a great way to spend a sunny Sunday afternoon. There was live music to eat our lunch by. There is 1 portable toilet if the urge comes. There are plenty of tables and chairs and 4 gazebos if you need shade. The food was excellent, and I had the best fish and chips. The service was quick and friendly and the view was spectacular. If there is a number of you , you need to get there early or take your own chairs as it gets very busy. They also sell alcohol , but a limited range.

Random side of road, pop up style set up of food van serving excellent Australian and local fish with great chips. A drinks van serving great local wines and live music in a geographically significant location opposite the Murray Mouth and facing into the Coorong. Plastic chairs and tables provided. Lovely setting as the sunsets across the end of the Murray River from Hindmarsh Island.

We love Coorong Cafe. It is an adventure to get there, the food, service and atmosphere are fantastic! With regular music by local performers, this place is a unique outdoor dining experience, right on the banks of the mighty Murray River Mouth! 👌 Plenty of wildlife too!

A very popular Cafe located at the far end of Hindmarsh Island surrounded by the nature found at the Mouth of the Murray. Great menu and selection of fish to have with your chips. Plenty of tables and chairs to dine from.

Lovely fresh mullet with chips, a little bit pricey but nice. Enjoyed the daily cocktail as well . A bit windy, but worth a visit. Great view with seaside seats.

Excellent destination if you want to do a drive from the Murraylands or Adelaide. Beautiful fresh food served by very friendly staff. Marvellous seafood with other food for those who don't like seafood. Great location with views of the Murray Mouth. The food van is situated on Hindmarsh Island next to Sugars Beach. Basic tables, chairs and amenities and can be windy but totally worth it.

An incredible place. We came new years eve and new years day and were so well catered for. This is an absolute must do. If I ever have people visit from interstate I will bring them here for a once in a lifetime experience. Thanks for your beautiful customer service.

Perfect end to a family day out. Fish and chips with an awesome sunset. Looks like we weren’t the only people that knew about this view and food. Car park was full!

Great chips. What topped it off was a choice of beer and wine to enjoy with the food. We sat on the tailgate, ate and had a great time.

Arriving at the friendly looking, bright blue Coorong Cafe, we were greeted by a happy spread of tables and friendly staff who made us feel welcome and cheerfully took our orders.

The food was prepared quickly, but with no compromise on quality. It was hot and tasty and made with fresh ingredients. This resulted in wonderful flavours and a very tasty meal.

I would happily recommend The Coorong Cafe to anyone, and will definitely return!

The staff here are friendly. They provide fantastic service with food quality you would only expect in a restaurant. Don't ask for processed foods like hot dogs as they are not on the menu.
Hamburgers and fresh seafood are what you get here.

This is a fantastic spot for fish and chips, burgers etc. Sometimes hard to find a table because its very popular on weekends so take a couple of camp chairs or a picnic blanket and enjoy. Its also licensed which is a plus!
