Amazing food. We’ve been twice in the one week. Yummiest braised beef hotpot and also the pork and scallion hotpot.

Had a duck dish last time which was delicious, as are their thin egg noodles.
Consistent food quality. Friendly staff and prompt service. Our family has a new favourite!

The best YUM CHA in Adelaide in my opinion.

I’ve gone to T-Chow on a few different occasions and it remains my favourite spot for Yum Cha to this day.

The food is always consistently excellent every time we go and there is plenty of seating and quite a spacious restaurant if you wanted to bring the family.

They rice wraps, green beans and salt and pepper squid are amazingly flavourful and are staples when I dine there.

There hasn’t been a dish I’ve ordered that wasn’t at a high standard. They have an array of traditional Chinese foods that if you won’t like there you won’t like anywhere.

So if you’re looking for some Yum Cha and haven’t tried here do yourself a favour and try it out!

Dinner before a show tonight. Sizzling BBQ beef, was melt in your mouth tender and scrumptious. The honey chicken, my son's fav was so light and delicate. The staff were lovely and yep, we will return. No photos of our food because we ate it before thinking of pics

Delicious and authentic Teochew food. One the best around China town area. Clay pot dishes are slightly smaller in size comparing to usual but I guess that means you get to try more dishes. Fair price, clean and great service.

Delicious Food and has amazing value for money! Ate with friends from Guangzhou in China and they rated these dishes highly in terms of authenticity! Highly recommended! If you want to see a video review of this restaurant and its food, feel free to check out my YouTube.

Came here a few times. They have yum cha during day time. Tonight came here for the Lunar New Year celebration. Very good food. And they have lion dance too.

Yummy yum cha/dim sum. Prompt, polite service. Good food variety and fresh prawns. They also have a yum cha menu if you want a particular item.

Holidaying from Japan during October 2019, my wife and I went here for dinner, with my son and his partner, who live in Adelaide.
The service was fantastic and the meal, with the many different dishes ordered, were very nicely presented, and very tasty indeed.
Will certainly go there again, next time down in Adelaide.

Best Chinese food ever! Also the staff is really nice and always bring food at time, good tempeture and delicious. I love the salt & pepper soft shell crab, as the duck, dumplings and noddles. This restaurant is one of my favorites in Adelaide. Really good job T-Chow team!

Went to T-Chow last night for dinner. Food and service was outstanding! I rarely eat Chinese as other places I have been to have let me down, but after trying it here I can happily say my opinion has changed. You just need to find the right place :)

We ordered the banquet for 4. I was a little on the edge about this as I'm not a huge fan of seafood, and there seemed to be a few dishes with that in it, but the dishes all came out very quick and there were a variety of foods. I was super full after all of the amazing dishes, but then came the deep-fried ice-cream! this was absolutely delicious, it really topped of the meal and I would happily come back just for dessert!!!

Also a huge thank you to the manager! he made us feel very welcomed and his happy mood made the whole experience 100 times better!

Defiantly recommend this place :)

I’ve been coming here over about 10 or 15 years & always enjoy the experience weather it’s busy or quiet, day or night.

I was shocked to see some of the bad reviews & have surmised that some people just don’t understand the nuances of this time proven classic Chinese restaurant

Here are some pointers to enjoy your experience

it’s one of the last restaurants to be fully carpeted. The decor is spacious. Some people said it looks dull. It’s old school, just enjoy the dampened sound that comes from eating in a carpeted restaurant. The tables are well spaced which is rare these days

T Chow has classic dishes specific to some Provence’s of China. Instead of ordering your ‘safe’ sweet & sour pork or spring rolls ask the staff about their famous dishes that the restaurant is known for

I will tell you about two.

One is the tea smoked duck that comes in a delicious broth and is served with vinegar sauce. Another is the hor fun seafood noodles. If you ordered that with some soft shell crab & one of their many interesting vegetable dishes you won’t go home unhappy.

Last tip, I always ask for soy sauce with fresh chilli if you are a spice lover. This style of Chinese food is not typically hot with spice. The chilli oil goes well with everything as well

Enjoy and be adventurous

Walk past it regularly but finally gave it a try. Tried their yum cha menu during Sunday lunch time. Ordered satay tripe, prawn Cheung fun, squid tentacles, scallop dumplings, Chinese chive dumplings and chicken feet. Everything was well seasoned. Nice flavour with the chilli used. Tripe had good texture, not too chewy and did not have strong odour. Dumplings were nice in size and flavor. Service was very attentive at the time (Sunday afternoon). Food came out timely and steaming hot. Will come again and recommend others to try.

Went there using a Groupon voucher today. Entitled 2 people to share any 6 dishes off a wide and varied menu. Had to pay $4 for a pot of green tea
which was very reasonable. Service was prompt and cheerful and every dish was delicious. The restaurant was not that busy but that would have been due to the current limitations. I am sure it will get busy again.
All in all a great experience and we will go back for sure, with or without a Groupon voucher

Found this place after we came out of lock. Was rather busy so went to see if we could get in for dinner? Yes we could and so glad we could. Meals are reasonable cheap and large servings and sooo good. Didn’t have to wait to long just one beer before the entree came out then another beer then the mains came out. We have found a new Chinese restaurant in the city so good!! We will definitely be back 🍺🥢🥡
