Nu Thai Restaurant

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Nu Thai, and it was truly an exceptional experience.

The highlight for me was the outstanding duck curry, bursting with rich flavors and perfectly cooked duck.

The ambiance was delightful, and the staff were friendly and attentive. I highly recommend Nu Thai for anyone seeking an authentic and delightful Thai dining experience. Can't wait to return!

The restaurant is located near the central market in Adelaide.

The staff was very friendly and polite in welcoming us.

The food was fantastic, cooked quickly, and served hot. The atmosphere is clean and modern, and prices are modest.

I would recommend it without hesitation.

Nice place to have supper at night. Friendly staffs (she recommended the Crispy Chicken and we didn’t regret trying it). Dishes were also delicious.

We ordered:
• Caramelised Pork Belly $28
• Roast Duck Curry $29
• Crispy Chicken $27
• Rice $4 per person

The pork belly was very tender. Perfect with rice.

Duck curry sauce made you drool. You can even eat just the sauce with rice and it’s really yummy.

Crispy chicken is not like other crispy chicken. The skin is thinly crispy like rice paper thin. It doesn’t make you ‘sick’ eating the skin. (Read: I don’t usually eat chicken skin and I could finish this in no time.)

Lovely place to enjoy some Thai food with some mates. Really good food and the service was good. One of the dishes we ordered was really spicy, just the way I like it.

Service was very kind. Ordered beef stir fry for my 8yo daughter who is very particular but she enjoyed it.
We also ordered caramelized pork belly and chilli barramundi; and it was also delicious. Will definitely visit again.

Friendly and accomodating staff. My kids appreciate the good service of the staff.👍👍 Vegetarian food was delicious and the restaurant ambience is peaceful and cozy.

Absolutely love this Thai gem in Adelaide! The Crispy Beef and Thai Chilli Beef are must-tries, and the rice is perfection. Service is top-notch, making it a favorite spot for a flavorful meal.

Beautiful Thai Restaurant, I would highly recommend this place if you’re wanting genuine beautiful Thai food. The atmosphere is so nice and cosy and the staff were very lovely. This is our first time in Adelaide and our first night out for dinner and it did not disappoint. 10/10 for food, atmosphere and service.

We stumbled across this restaurant whilst driving around the city looking for somewhere to eat and glad that we did! Friendly service. Great atmosphere. Good location as it’s not in the heart of the city. Couldn’t find a park right near it so we parked a block away which was fine to walk there. Food was good.
Waiter brought the QR code check in to the table however we had already checked in on entry. Toilets were clean. Prices are reasonable.

Not very often I post a 5 Star rating, but this is an occasion that I could not fault the quality and taste of the food, with friendly service too. We very much enjoyed the 7 Course Banquet which was excellent in presentation, portion size and most of all taste.. Congratulations to Nu Thai.

My husband and I found this place my chance a few years ago and it's our favourite place to go. For us heading into the city is always a chore but the food at Nu Thai makes it worth it. We have never been disappointed and it's always delicious, taste buds always leave dancing and tummy is always too full. Worth it Everytime. It's also turned into a favorite for my parents too.

Had a takeaway dinner while staying in Adelaide City. Food was best Thai we’ve eaten. Had Crisp Beef, Ginger Chicken and Pork Belly. Even better than those dishes was an entree of Thai Dumpling. Service was impeccable. Very welcoming. Highly recommended.

Probably one of my favourite Thai restaurants now. The food was amazing. Very filling and pricing was good. Ordered the chicken satay skewers and I think it was called crispy tiger which was pieces of steak. Both of these dishes were amazing. The skewers were probably the best I have had. For the mains we ordered three flavours barramundi and crispy chicken. The barramundi was very tasty but was definitely too much to eat 😂 and the crispy chicken 😋 yum. We finished it off with the ricotta fig and honey vanilla ice cream. Mmmm delicious

What a memorable place to visit!
Every dish is just a flavour explosion in your mouth. My personal favourite is the chicken with the lemon wedge and that green dipping sauce that is just perfectly balanced. The tempura also deserves a lot of praise for being perfectly balanced and not having a overpowering dipping sauce. The fresh coconut is a nice touch and also a good idea if you have trouble with heat from the spicyness.
We did not enjoy the desert, which was fried banana with icecream. I will disregard that dish from my rating, it doesn’t belong with the rest of the food that was truly amazing!
Best Thai food I’ve had in Adelaide so far.

We happened to make a reservation at Nu after finding it in the Entertainment Book and had a fantastic night. Friendly service and delicious food - we stuck to a couple of Thai favourites - pad Thai etc- and they were great! Very pleasant evening

Yummy food and nice ambience. We have ordered vegetarian green curry thai and pad thai chicken and tom yum soup vegetarian. Must visit if you are in Adelaide.

Always a most enjoyable dining experience. We keep coming back. And, it is always the same - delicious food and great atmosphere.

We love chef Nu's food! After our amazing experience at Lantern by Nu, we wanted to try Nu Thai.

This time we stuck to vegetation dishes and the food was unbelievably delicious. Their vegetarian pad Thai (with egg) was as good as the seafood pad Thai we had at Lantern by Nu.

However our favorite dish was the eggplant dish. I am not an eggplant lover but this was a winner!.
