Buchan Valley Roadhouse

So yum! Perfect pitstop for a breaky or a burger if you’re staying in or around Buchan. Quick service and super friendly staff. Food was fresh and delicious, great value for money. We also loved the selection of local products and knick knacks they had in store. We will be back if we’re in the area!

We love going up to Buchan to get lunch at the Roadhouse. In over 10 years we have never had food from Jayne that was anything less than outstandingly good. Servings are generous and fresh and cooked to perfection every time. Today we had a steak sandwich and a Burger with the lot, both were delicious, the meat was tender and cooked just right. Staff are always friendly and there is a happy vibe in the shop. Highly recommend anyone to visit, and my tip - try a steak sandwich, they are the best you will get anywhere. A plain beef burger for AUD10, cheeseburger for AUD11!! Massive and very decent burger at that price point. Still trying to understand how they can price their food so low and survive.

Coffee was good. Service was very warm and attentive.

Highly recommended if you're visiting Buchan Caves.

Lots of different options. Like they have veggie options. Only outdoor seating but still nice. Nothing fancy but hits the spot!

Absolutely delicious food and coffee, with very good prices and service. There's a good range of menu items, all of them seemingly created with care. Possibly the best chicken burger I've ever had, and the fish and chips were tasty and clean, not soaked in oil. Really pleasant experience, and I would recommend any visitors to Buchan to stop by.

You must stop by The Roadhouse if you’re in Buchan, the breakfast wrap, salad roll and seafood box was great, so tasty and everything cooked well! The food is clearly made with love!

Staff were friendly, and the food was pretty good. The burgers were good and the chicken souvlaki was excellent apart from the fact that it had regular cheese which was a bit weird but still fine. The coffee was also pretty good and that's coming from a Melbourne drinker lol. Very relaxed vibe also!

Best burger I’ve had in years. Egg n bacon rolls yummo. The choc milkshakes, wow! Service amazing! Lots of fresh daily produce. Friendly locals. Top shop to stop for brekky, lunch, brunch, petrol, meat or supplies. My son got a Kodak moment with a pretty cool tractor. Wheels bigger than him. Awesome.

Absolutely fabulous! One of the nicest, customer orientated people I have ever met. They cook great meals and were more than happy to accommodate Gluten free. Be sure to drop in if you ever go to the caves. Buchan a beautiful place to go!

Yummy vegetarian burger! Ok coffee and good hot chocolate. It was a saviour lunch stop in the middle of the Buchan national park. Will try again and recommend!

Fresh food, lovely service, really cute little shop. REAL potato cakes which is super important to my fussy husband haha. A great little place to stop, better than I expected from a roadhouse. Sad that most other places in town are closed. I hope it all gets busy again for them soon.

Amazing coffee really good oat milk. Super lovely and friendly service and fantastically priced and flavoured b&e rolls, super accommodating to dietary requirements too. Thanks for the lovely breaky :)

We use the Roadhouse during the Snowy River Sprint and all of our competitors have had great service. Crews get their morning coffee there and bacon and egg roll. They only use local produce and the hamburgers were great. Thanks for you support.
