Karoonda Park

We stopped here about 4pm looking for a coffee and maybe something to eat as we hadn't had lunch. They weren't really open for passersby, but the fantastic owners made us a huge plate of amazing sandwiches, brought out more cake than we could possibly eat and made us all a cappuccino, and only charged us $12 each!! Thankyou so much 🙂

I went here for a school camp once: it was amazing. somehow we were all able to avoid covid-19 which was a miracle and had a great time. I was though deeply saddened by the fact that lots of what look to be a forest burnt down, but our spirits were still high. for anyone coming in the foreseen future, believe me your time here will be amazing.

What an amazing place. Everyone was so kind. I could only wish that I had a school camp here. I am so thankful to Paul, Judy, Bridget, Luke, Cameron, Figgsy, Zed and Spike. What an amazing place

My memory isn't great, but we had a great talk and I loved meeting you send your family and you at Karoonda Park. You are all truly beautiful people and this is amazing place. Great people and staff. You have all revitalised my my faith in the human spirit. Thank you Bridget for your amazing knowledge and mushroom breakfast. You are all truly wonderful and I will be sending you all something in the mail soon.

I didn't stay here but the owners helped me out in an act of great generosity. I was on my way by push-bike to Suggan Buggan and called in to see if I could get some snacks which I needed for lunch the following day. The owner ended up making me a salad roll, and threw in two Anzac biscuits, some chips, and two muffins, and when I asked how much he said "$5-$10"! I ended up paying $10 which was still great value. Made my day.

Stayed there a few years ago, the cabins are nice and clean and the family that run it are amazing you couldn’t ask for anything more and the food is fantastic also cooked great and heaps of it, this place is 10 out of 10 I will definitely be going back there in the future.

Stayed there some years ago and just looked up that page again because I loved it so much! I stayed there for a month and it turned me into a country girl. Very special place for me!

There isn’t a better place to stay. The owners really looked after us. And the home cooked meals...wow!

Awesome place

Went to this place a few days ago, it was spectacular! Everything about the place was exceptional, except for the fact that the cabins and activities were all around the place, it was very hard to locate where was where. The cabins were also pretty basic, but other than that, the food and hospitality they provided was amazing!
