The Willow Buchan Valley

What a hidden gem we came accross, totally unexpected. The food delectable, the coffee brewed and made to perfection, the cakes especially the Persian love cake a total delight and ignited our tastebuds/palate. Tristan and Co. provided such an incredible experience a total must when you come to Buchan Valley.

Tasty smooth coffee served by staff with good humour. Good servings at reasonable prices though would be perfect if the butter for the toast was slightly softened. Would love cream on top of iced coffee

A perfect little coffee shop welcoming you back to civilization after camping along the Snowy River. We have been here a few times now when passing through and the owner is always friendly and welcoming. I got a chai, I think it was a syrup or powdered one but it was hot and very wanted after chilly nights camping. We got rolls/focaccia and they were tasty

Just loved this little cafe in this beautiful little village. The owner (?) was charming, friendly and the cake and coffee delicious. So glad we decided to have a break there. Would highly recommend.

There are two things you need to do in Buchan, visit this lovely café and see the caves. Then if you have time you can check some other things out too.

The staff are super friendly and helpful, the place is very well renovated and decorated, full of local art and cute gifts.

The food is both pretty and tasty, and tea comes in good sized pots.

We had a lovely time here for breakfast after a long journey through the national park. The coffee, toasties and pancakes were amazing! Lovely service and chat with the owner who was very personable and friendly. Strong recommend!

You would not expect such a lovely spot in middle of nowhere, very artistic feel in the raining days.

Lovely stop in Buchan or on the way through, with excellent coffee worth the drive from Bairnsdale. Bright and airy inside, with spots outside for sunny days. Some great cafe food and takeaway options, and delicious looking treats, with everything made fresh daily. The owners have clearly put in a lot of effort to make this a beautiful space, and this thoughtfulness extends to the food and drinks too. I look forward to returning!

It's a cosy and surprisingly great cafe. The quality of the ingredients, great taste and clever combination. The dishes presented in front of me was a beautiful piece of arts. They definitely put a lot of heart and efforts in behind. Thankyou for the lovely service and great food, truly made my day!

Absolutely beautiful. The boys are amazing & the food is exceptional. Not only visually stunning but delicious. I had grilled chicken salad & my girlfriend had the cauliflower salad.

What a sensational find! Gorgeous staff (friendly, funny and full of local knowledge), great coffee, best thick shake and chicken sandwich anywhere (according to teenage son!) and very cute gifts.

Ambling down from the mountains we didn’t expect to find this gem in Buchan. Enjoyed fresh food, excellent coffee and a warm chat with the proprietor. Highly recommend you support this adorable cafe !

Bought some rocks from there. The owners (?) of the cafe were very nice and explained the history of the paintings on the rocks.

Absolutely amazing coffee, so delicious, possibly best I have had in Australia (which is saying something), cute babycinos and really nice sandwiches, and the staff were lovely.

This little cafe is absolutely amazing! Tristan and Patrick are wonderful and so friendly. The food was to die for not only well presented but extremely tasty and the milkshakes (chefs kiss). Would definitely recommend coming here, can’t wait to go back again!
