Heathcote Skatepark

A colourful and well-kept small town Skatepark. Unfortunately it is very basically designed. There are two 5ft quarter pipes at either end with a small platform funbox in the middle. It also has a grind ledge beside it. Apart from that it has a decent amount of flat ground area to roll around on.

One end of the park could have done with an embankment instead of another quarter. There could have been some smaller bowl-like transitions added to make it more interesting.

Overall it's better than a lot of small town parks and is maintained very well. Worth a roll if you are on your way through town.

A 3-minute walk from the Heathcote Visitors Centre and toilet you'll find a small skate park between the road and a limited but inventive dirt jump area. 2 quarters with a box in the middle, some slide rails. This is also the starting point of the Heathcote-Bendigo 49 km O'Keefe rail trail. Just follow the footpath up to the rail trail signpost.
