Heathcote Juniper Lounge

Fantastic place. A gem! Food is fit for a high flying restaurant and relatively inexpensive. Especially pay attention to the Tapas menu. Goat cheese! Calamari! Meatballs! Classy music inside, also has occasional live music to spice things up. top notch spot in the area! do not miss!

I stopped in here on my way through to try their gin and take a break. The owner was so welcoming and down to earth, she suggested a great relaxing spot in the back garden to relax and talked me through their gin tasting paddles. I had a great time, the atmosphere was relaxing and fun and they had a stage for live music. I enjoyed all of the gin and bought a bottle of the raspberry gin to take home.

I LOVE this place! After being ignored in 1 Heathcote pub, then getting a rather hostile reception in the next, we went on to discover the Juniper Lounge.. what a contrast! Warmly greeted by Cecile, it felt like we were visiting old friends. She told us all about what their cozy venue had to offer then invited the owner, Adrian, to meet us. We sat and chatted with them over a drink, then enjoyed a great meal, complimented by great music.

Stopped there with my mum & elderly aunt today for a coffee because the bakery was full. Well we have found our diamond in the rough. Absolutely beautiful place, so homely and the owners are so welcoming. Food was fresh and delicious and the service was fantastic Definitely returning when in Heathcote again in the next few weeks ♥

It's probably the most hospitable place I have been in a very long time. The drinks were amazing, esp the gins. And the snack and food was too good. The staff is amazing and they make it so much more enjoyable. Went there in the morning for just a drink but ended up going back in there again in the arvo. Cecil has so many stories. Love it. I should stop here, or it'll look like a paid promotion

Gin was amazing- especially the "chocolate" one. Plenty of other drink options if you're not a gin drinker. Lamb shanks were delicious. Great prices. Lovely atmosphere. Will absolutely be back!!

We were just walking past and thought it would be fun to have a gin and tonic. Well, we ended up having a gin tasting, which was great, then we had dinner to boot. It was excellent and fun. Staff and owner/chef were great. We had a fantastic night. Would highly recommend! Even lovely live music!

Groovy little venue that serves up some amazing gins, wine and some tasty food with serving sizes being plentiful!

Went back 2 nights in a row it was that good!
The owner and staff are lovely and the community that love to hang about are also great!
Great live acoustic entertainment and karaoke night is also VERY fun,

Definitely recommend popping into the Juniper lounge and having a great time in Heathcote!

Fun and friendly atmosphere with great service.
Stopped in on the way through for a bite to eat - staff were friendly and accommodating. It's obvious they enjoy what they do.
I ordered the calamari which came out hot and fresh - good quality and not frozen.
Good selection of tapas and some lovely local gin to try. Definitely a hidden gem! Thanks guys.

Wow what a Gem this venue is!! Our first time to Junipers it a very warm fun place with a lot of that Disco feeling from the 70/80’s we love the night with live music and the owner Adrian is a Fantastic Guy and very welcoming The Staff we’re very helpful and hospitable. Thank you Cecille for your hospitality we loved this place will definitely go back!!

Great little gem of a place for a meal or snacks and drinks and live music. Excellent selection of freshly prepared and tasty food, wide range of wines, gins and cocktails. Cosy atmosphere and really lovely people (talking about u Cecille!). Could have settled in for a very long time!

My daughters and I will never forget the extraordinary kindness of Italian staff member Cecilia, with the manager’s permission driving me and my daughters back to our Heathcote accommodation I have Parkinson’s Disease and had a recent fall. There was no other transport available.What extraordinary country kindness. Also loved the very pretty pale mauve Heathcote gin!

Fantastic experience here, $30 for a flight of six gins, and they are very generous with their pours. Recommend highly!

Would definitely reccommend that anyone who pops through Heathcote comes for dinner and a drink.

Amazing spread on the tasting paddle, unexpected extras to food to sample, great venue to kick back and settle in. Cocktails are a win with the good lady wife.

Probably one of the best nights I've had in a long time. Super meal, great local wine, beautiful ambient environment, live jazz playing in the background. Nice locally made gin nightcap to finish. Good service, well priced.
