Van Loon’s Cafe

A favourite place to take friends for a cuppa, a Devonshire Tea or a cheeky wine, cocktail or bubbles. In a setting which soothes the eye and soul, amidst a sea of flowers. How much more can you spoil your senses.... Oh and they have the quaintest shop with everything trendy in it ranging from napkins to lamps to soaps to dresses all oozing style. And then I'm not even mentioning all things garden related to be found there. Lastly ... there is a resident cat lounging on the check out counter. A local celebrity. Keep an eye out for her. Just perfection in every detail.

Van Loon's exceeded expectations! You must visit for delicious food, great service and a fantastic range of plants, homewares and clothes. I'll definitely be back!

I was so impressed with Van Loon's cafe.
We were immediately greeted with big smiles and a warm welcome. The venue itself was beautiful and cosy.
I had the pulled pork waffles with cheese sauce, and it was DELICIOUS. It was very heavy, though, and I couldn't finish it, but I wanted to. My mum had the Reuben burger, which was also amazing but again, really big and heavy and she couldn't finish it.
Coffee was awesome and although we didn't eat any cakes they looked scrumptious.
I will definitely return when I am in Geelong next.

What a pleasant surprise this place is! I'd admit, when I first saw it was a cafe in a Nursery, I wasn't expecting much, but how wrong was I. The food here is top notch, high quality, culinary excellence. This fish and chips are excellent. A great venue for a casual laid back weekend lunch. Highly recommended.

Enjoyed the high tea, we were celebrating a friends birthday it was amazing. The staff were friendly and obliging. It was very busy so it gets a bit noisy when the cafe is full but all in all a great day

Friendly and efficient customer service, lovely atmosphere 💮🌸💐 Good coffee and ordered the VLC Big Breakfast. Really enjoyed the beautifully cooked scrambled eggs, crunchy hash browns, tasty mushrooms, bacon, tomato and delicious cheese kranksy with relish which for me, was definitely the hero of the dish 😋😋😋

The choices are fabulous, the food is top quality, the prices are reasonable, the staff are lovely, great ambience & a nice stroll around the nursery & gift shop after...plenty of parking. Going again! 😁👍

First visit there with family... wont be our last.. beautiful comfortable place to meet up.. drinks and OMG the selection of cakes👍... and other goodies.. do not go past this place.. stop.. go in... enjoy...

Great atmosphere, friendly and efficient staff are just a bonus to the great food and coffee!

Relaxing nursery to wander around. Very well set out. Cafe is good, service efficent and prompt. Meals were very nice although took quite a while to come out, very busy though due to school holidays, sunny day and Sunday.

Excellent coffee, cakes , and we will be back for lunch.

I had the pumping burger. It was unbelievable! So delicious!! What a cute atmosphere to sit outside near all the beautiful plants in the nursery!! I loved this place!! The shop was so cool too, heaps to look at. I'll come back for gifts. Such a great experience. The good was so fresh and so delicious. The staff were also very friendly. Toilets were clean and there was plenty of parking too.

Such a nice and comfy cafe in a nursery setting with a shop having some really good little things to buy ! It’s all in one experience ! The food is delicious and kids menu has so many options 😃 the best we have seen in months ! Staff is very friendly and the service is quick and very efficient!
Love the ambiance and the feeling of Just relaxing and having a cup of coffee and enjoying a brunch.

Coffee was outstanding. Really enjoyed it here. Only downside was I had to wait 15 minutes for it, although it was pretty busy.
