Banks Road Vineyard

What a suprise. Haven't been here previously and thought we would try their Saturday night dinner (they only do dinners on Saturdays). So glad we did this. The food is amazing, the service friendly without being intrusive. The quality of the wines was outstanding and the food perfect. The food emphasis is on quality,not quantity, but great value for money,we will return

Loved their wines and food. Usually, I am not a big fan of Rose, but their Rose was a next level. I'd come back!

We had a lovely time here. We thoroughly enjoyed the wine tasting paddle which consists of 6 lovely whites and reds. Plus the sharing plates were superb as well. Service was excellent too

Visited for a Sat night dinner with the family. Kids loved the forest and sculptures and food was amazing. Chef was spotted picking lavender and fresh veg for the meal and everyone loved all courses. Duck slightly dry otherwise would have given 6 stars :) Their Shiraz is also very good!

We had lunch here on Saturday with a group and the food was divine. A superb menu and the wine tastings lovely as well, as we’re the staff. We could bring the dog and sit outside, perfect way to spend an afternoon

I visited Banks Road Winery with my wife, parents and Grandmother. We were all impressed with the wine, accommodating service and the especially food! I personally tried 3/4 of the menu and am eager to return and sample the few I missed.

2nd time there with a large group. Booked in advance at the restaurant and had a lovely experience. Bright and friendly staff! Thanks for the great service on a busy day! Beautiful Pinot Noir, and a vibrant Merlot/Malbec blend. Relaxed atmosphere, great for a lazy Sunday excursion.

We had a large group booking and we were very well looked after. The wine tasting was very affordable. We had a great afternoon.

Ive been there twice. The ist time we were early and they seated us and let us relax until we were ready to order. The food totally amazing. The wine absolutely perfect and the service of the staff was amazing.
Our second time back was even better. Will definately return over and over again

Great staff, nice location, wine tasting on a paddle which is good at your own pace , platter of local produce. Recommend a visit.

I came here with my partner on a lovely sunny day. The views were filled with beautiful sculptures and blue skies.

We grabbed the tasting paddle, the cheese and meat board and then on to extra wines which were all amazing.

The staff were all super friendly and attentive, fully recommend for a day out, child friendly as well.

The menu was interesting and varied, well presented and generous. Service attentive and timely. Pleasant outlook .

Walked up from the Bellarine big 4, for a quick nibble. Found ourselves set in for the afternoon at a quaint little vineyard. Staff, food, people superb and the wine outstanding.

We have really enjoyed two fabulous lunches with friends at Banks Road Restaurant.
Chris Kerber is a wonderful chef who seems to love working with food and flavours.
Yesterday (Wednesday 26 April 2023), the prawns were delicious, as was the whiting and the squid. We all enjoyed the wines that we had.
We had the fig panna cotta for desert and it was beautiful. Everything was wonderful and very reasonably priced.

Travel from Melbourne to Banks Road Vineyard for a friend birthday. The staff was kind to give us a perfect spot with great view to the Vineyard.

Simple and tasty food. Loved the "Bread w goodies" & "Spiced cauliflower, tahini and almond ". Plus a lot of other things in the menu. Ordered two bottles of Rose and ended up buying four more bottles to take home. Nice a sophisticated specialist but it was smooth and cold drink in a hot day.

After two hours sitting inside, we moved outside for wine tasting, tea/coffee with cake on the grass. Great view with a nice breeze. Ended up having a good time for nearly 4 hours at Banks Road Vineyard. They had a few sculptures around the place, which was amazing to see. Great hospitality by staff and a lovely place to hang around. Love hanging around with the Dog. Very much enjoyed it.

Two suggestion you may want to consider.

1) Add one or two Vegan/Vegetarian Options to the menu as a main.
2) Add an item for Tip in your payment system.

Driven past many times ... Lovely rural outlook and cosy dining area. A small but well balanced selection of wines. Staff are attentive and friendly. Well presented and tasty menu offering. Very pleasant evening and can only recommend a return visit to sample the rest of the menu and wine pairings.

Excellent service and excellent food! Staff friendly, professional and very accommodating. We had the “feed me” menu and could not fault anything, flavours were superb…look forward to frequenting this wonderful restaurant in such a beautiful setting..

I recently attended the Winery for a family function. Staff, food and wine were all excellent, no complaints from any of those attending. We did discuss the one and only toilet available, entry via the dining room. We counted 60 people at one stage, not sure if staff also use the same toilet. To gain access or wait to use the toilet, is where diners are sitting and eating, it seemed invasive to those diners, felt uncomfortable standing there.

Perfect lunch at lovely local winery. Food was delicious, wine fabulous and staff were delightful.

Intend to return when weather a bit better with family and our dog. Young children have plenty if running around space. Inside or outside dining.
