An absolute must. DON’T DRIVE PAST! Wish this was my local. Great rustic industrial vibe, DOG & KID friendly outside area undercover. Excellent beers, and the food was delicious. I had the vegan version of the tacos which were served with home made everything, pickled onions, zesty pesto and a curried chickpea filling. The boys had a vegan burger and a chicken burger and the cauliflower and hazelnut salad just amazing.
Now for the drinks. Wow, what a fantastic selection of award winning brews and the Berried Treasure Sour was off the charts good! Service so so friendly and Owner Peter was more than happy to chat about his beers!

Considering it's Easter Saturday and really busy, the food came out in a great time and was really good. Beers were lovely too. Will be back again

Plenty of vegan options on the menu. Vegan parma is to die for (pic). Buffalo cauliflower wings sauce is yummy but can be crunchier. Lovely staff, great food, good beer. Highly recommend.
It'll be great if they can do non alcoholic beer in the future.

Had amazing lunch at Palling bro brewery, recommend if you are in Heathcote. Dog-friendly and awesome local bears.

You beauty! What a terrific place to find and the food is fresh, interesting and super yummy. Highly recommend to stop for lunch. I got the taco chicken. Finger licking good!

Also got the beef burger. They have super good gluten free buns is needed, which are locally sourced. Also finger licking good!

Friendly service and good food.

Stopped there on my way back to Melbourne. Only had one beer, the Bailiff Pale Ale, and what an outstanding beer it was. The bitterness was perfectly balanced, more taste than a traditional Aussie pale ale but not as strong as an American IPA. Also had a taste of their dark witbier and again the balance stood out for all the right reasons. These people know how to make good beer!

Honestly, it's 6 ⭐. Great beer. The stout is mild enough for even the most hardened VB / Draught / Lager drinker to give a go. The atmosphere here is great, with a choice of beer garden or indoor seating to make you comfortable. Unfortunately the chef was crook, so the kitchen was closed. Fortunately I now have no excuses to go back.
If you like great craft beer, with a great variety of styles, give this place a go! 😁🍻

Good meals at fair prices. Huge range of boutique beers now on tap. Air con good on hot days. Plenty of tables inside and out. Very welcoming and pleasant service. Range of quality sweets. Coffee excellent. I'll be back. 11 Feb 2024 visit.

This place found us 🤩 when we were desperately trying to find a good place to have a late lunch as the first timers in the lovely town Heathcote. We were so lucky 🍀 The owners and staff were very kind and friendly, very attentive and generous to our naive requests 🤪 The atmosphere was relaxing and nice, the foods were so delicious to us 😋😋 the cappuccino was top 🔝 AND the beer 🍻 were GREAT 🤩 Will be back definitely with a gang of friends 😁

Not just a brewery - this place also has great food! From the moment we walked in we encountered great, friendly service from all the staff here. They definitely like what they do and it shows.

After checking out the menu we decided to stick to starters and ordered the special of Garlic Bread then Mushroom Arancini Balls with garlic aioli, Salt and Pepper Calamari with lime aioli and the Crispy Southern Fried Chicken Tenders with sweet chilli aioli. All were delicious and left us wanting more (and the different aiolis were perfectly paired!).

We sat inside under the heaters but there is also tables set up outside which I’m sure would be filled during Summer!

So even though Heathcote is known for its wines I would definitely suggest you stop by here for some great food if you’re travelling through!

Very cosy place to grab dinner. Staff were the friendliest, and their service is fast. The food is good. Their own brewed beer is so good.

Nice little craft brewery in the country side. Good atmosphere, beer and food. Nice people. Choice of inside and outside seating. We had a beer tasting paddle with a fish burger and a vegie burger. The photo with the musicians is the Irish Sunday session.

The New England IPA brewed locally is the best I have tasted in Australia.

We visited in January and returned again the next night because it was just so good. The beers were fantastic, the staff so incredibly friendly, and the GOAT BURGER. Don’t even get me started! So juicy and flavoursome! We’ve visited quite a number of breweries/burger places since then and nothing even slightly compares to the goat burger. In fact, we’ve just eaten a very disappointing burger at another famous Victorian brewery and are reminiscing about our time at Palling Bros. We might need to make a detour on the the way back home! 🤤
