YakiTori Bar - YTB

Great yakitori experience, this is the ‘sister restaurant’ of Komeyui so I expected nothing less from them and they surely did not disappoint! I recommend trying all their grilled meat as I enjoyed all of them. My top 3 would be their aged pork belly, wagyu sirloin, chicken wings.

Update: finally tried their ramen and omg it’s the best you can get, the broth is so so creamy!

Absolutely amazing lunch at Yakitori Bar!
We made a visit as we had a hankering for some Japanese, and we weren't disappointed.
Between the two of us, we shared the Scallop entree, miso Kingfish, egg roll, ramen and pork Sando. Following it all up with a Monako and Yuzu Sorbet dessert!
All the dishes were fantastic, and the staff were friendly and informative. It was a great lunch!

Coming into YTB, I was unsure what to expect. We were told that this restaurant had only been open for three weeks and is the sister restaurant to Komeiyui.

The dinner experience at this yakitori bar was a special, memorable and cozy time. A nice place for a casual celebration (we were here for a birthday).

The venue itself felt intimate yet spacious, and the staff was extremely friendly.

If you plan to come in a bigger group (4-6ppl), I would recommend booking a table. But if you are coming alone/with someone, the counter is a great option.

Be sure to order the panko oyster, wagyu beef, scallop foie gras, tsukune, and rich ramen (to share). The produce was beautifully charred, treated with respect and well cooked.

Absolutely fantastic service, food and hospitality. Chef Nan was awesome and we had such amazing food at a reasonable price (lunch). Super HIGHLY recommend for great yakitori, sushi, and pork katsu sando n the city!

It was my first time trying an Omakase menu and I was blown away! the food was all so incredible and getting to watch it be made right in front of you was such a great experience! The food was all so delicious and I couldn’t fault it, the staff and Chefs were all wonderful and it just made for a great night. Thank you Team 👏

The highlight of my dinner is the ramen, the soup has a creamy texture that is different to the other ramen that i’ve tasted before. Danny is an amazing chef and he entertains us throughout the night. Koji’s service was amazing too! Highly recommend this place.

Since Maedaya in Richmond shut down, I have been craving for good yakitori, especially my favourite chicken skin. So lucky to find this place that do authentic yakitori and also a super thick broth ramen. Highly recommended.

We got the Pork Katsu Sando for lunch during lockdown as a treat- and what a treat it was! It was the yummiest sandwich ever, the most perfect bread and delicious cutlet and slaw. My son after eating it said he didn’t want to eat anything else;so the taste wouldn’t leave his mouth!:) highly recommend Yaki Tori Bar

Had a great experience at this place. Food was delicate, extraordinary and the service from walk-in to walk-out was exemplary. Definitely worth a revisit. Highly recommeded.

You can expect perfect Japanese foods from street foods to high-end cuisine. I wanted to give 10 stars out of five.

Excellent yakitori, the best in town! Super yum ramen as good as ippudo and mr ramen san! Strongly recommended!

Delicious and authentic flavours that surpassed expectations, beers on tap went well with our order and we enjoyed the wine.

Ordered a couple different chicken skewers, the pork skewer, the ribs, wagyu tataki, tuna and kingfish sashimi, and the ramen. I expect I’ll be back to try the rest of the menu before long

I visited there with my girlfriend yesterday. Absolutely satisfied. Amazing food, good vibrant, friendly staff. Oyster and the blue cheese with truffle oil tamago were my favourite. Ramen was the best ramen that I ever had. Definitely will come back again. Thank you all.

This place WILL be a Melbourne institution. I highly recommend getting there before they end up with a 3 week wait for a table. The ramen broth is some of the most beautifully constructed, rich and flavourful broth I've ever had. Comfortably some of the best outside of Japan. The rest of the menu is also thoughtfully put together with a wonderful attention to detail without being over the top.

This is a great place for a casual dinner or lunch and the service is exactly what you'd find in Japan; attentive but not overbearing.

No Surprises!! After the standard, quality and consistency delivered and still being delivered by Kuma-san at the new Komeyui, why would this new concept YakiToriBar be any different!
Yet, he manages to surprise. The ramen - not like any that is served in Australia. The "magic chilli" - one of a kind. If lucky and you can convince him to put the Kumamoto Wagyu on the binchotan ......!!!!!! I can go on with the other items we had from the menu, even "Mr Lemon".
A fantastic meal and already planning the next visit.
