An incredible selection of beverages with a delightful range to choose from. This place has been a true sanctuary during lockdown, transforming the act of selecting unique beers and ciders into a delightful weekend pastime. The staff's warm and welcoming demeanor adds to the enjoyment, making each visit for essential shopping an absolute pleasure!

My first time visiting this place after my partner told me about it and I loved it. Was greeted as we walked in the door and asked if we needed any assistance. I just wanted to browse so I was left to do that. After circling back near the register, the staff member told us about tastings they have on Fridays so we signed up to the mailing list. The range of wines is excellent and although its not exactly our local, we will return to try outsome new wines like this one we bought today as it's always easy for me to buy SA wines being an ex South Aussie!

Love this place. The staff are genuine enthusiasts, very knowledgeable and helpful. Looking through the brilliant selections of interesting wines and special craft beers from all round the world is like being in an art gallery. Worth visiting just for a look! But buy something because they are great and special local stores like this need our patronage and support.

The staff at Decanters by the Bay are amazing, each time they offer great customer service, with knowledge of the products. It's refreshing to find a varying selection of wines and friendly staff. Even the doggo loves this place.

I came in looking to try a new beer with the same great taste as a VB and the lady helped pick out the great sample lager..wasn't disappointed.

The "go to" independent bottle'o. Amazing selection of craft beer at very reasonable prices, and a wine list featuring the usual suspects PLUS a great selection of boutique wineries and lesser known varietals. Super friendly and knowledgeable staff, come on Friday nights for free wine and/or beer tastings.

How have I not been here before! So good such a good selection of beers (havent even begun to look at wines yet) met Glenn, lovely fella very helpful and passionate about the store. I'll be visiting a lot

A refreshing change from the big bottle shops, my wife and I travel from Hawthorn East to stock up on beer & wine from Decanters by the bay. We always receive wonderful service and help selecting wines to fit our budget at the time. Anne & Glenn have a lot of experience in the wine industry and it shows as they always introduce us to a variety of wines we may not have selected at the bigger bottle shops.

Fantastic selection of wines (Aus and imported) curated by the highly knowledgeable and friendly staff and owners, plus an awesome selection of beers. Beer/wine tastings (sometimes spirits too) on Fri eves, often hosted by the makers themselves, are a great way to explore new drops.

Fantastic local bottle shop. They have an amazing selection of craft beers, and the dudes and dudettes who work there are always pumped to give you some help or tips.
They have tastings on Fridays, from brewery's, wineries and others. Great place.

Beautiful friendly staff. Happy Christmas greeting as we came through the door. Told them I was just going to browse, before long l was approached by a staff member who helped me immensely. Their knowledge of wine, regions and varietals was second to none. Definitely be back for New Years! Thanks again guys!!

The whole team at decanters are absolutely fabulous. They are knowledgeable with the their recommendations, worked to our budget and supported our decision making throughout planning our engagement/wedding. Support a stalwart local business that cares, it'll come back tenfold.

Great place, Glen and Val and the team are very welcoming and have an excellent selection of and very willing to get in what they don't. Gift Hampers look amazing and also had everything to go on a better than normal picnic 🥂

Friendly, family business who don't always push the most expensive options like some other places do.
