Been to this pathology quite a few times and always excellent friendly service and very organised so not much of a wait

Pathologist on this morning ( Saturday ) was so lovely! Seen quickly and had a great little chat! Also I barely felt the needle at all! Thank you ☺

I don't understand the poor review.

I dropped in at 7:25am, 5 minutes before the pathology lab was scheduled to open, and there were already 6 people ahead of me. I thought it was kind of the staff to allow people in before opening time instead of keeping door locked, forcing customers to wait in the cold, and potentially getting into an argument over who was first once allowed in.

The lady who had taken my blood was skilful in her work, professional, respectful and courteous, and very diligent in ensuring that my details were correct.

I had to wait 20 minutes for my turn, but had planned for it, so no big deal. Those who don't appreciate our medical system obviously have no idea what it is like abroad.

Went in at 9:30 to avoid the early rush. 1 minute wait, nurse was lovely and collection was painless. Just avoid the 7:30am rush that everyone hates, it’s not rocket science

Very friendly and makes me feel I am in my own workplace. An excellent personality and very professional staff especially Cameron.

Good, local service, no referral required. Staff working long hours in difficult circumstances, so doing their best - please be kind to them.

Get ready for a long long long wait.

Don’t trust this lot with your health they stuff up the simplest of requests.
After I was told that a particular test was going to cost me $60 I said to leave it and do the remaining tests.
Needless to say I have received an invoice for $60 and I can’t get through to someone in accounts that can speak enough English to be able to rectify the problem.

Infection control disgusting. Went for a blood test. 1st operator, wearing gloves to tap on to computer, then a quick wipe over cubital fossa , it should be a good 20 second wipe in a circle, then after taking blood , and not taking gloves off , back to computer. 2nd Operator came with gloves on, but using the photocopier. Pity the next few people coming in for any procedures. These people need training in all aspects of infection control, hand hygiene and customer care.

No longer open past 4pm for the after work appointments so went at 7:30am for before work....as did four other people.
It took 45 minutes for me to have my bloods taken as only one nurse was working?!
I was therefore an hour late for work! Great work Dorevitch, real smart.

Nurses are nice and professional though.

I waited 45 minutes to get a blood test done today. When you walk in to the centre to grab a number there's a sign that states 'Please ring the bell to let us know you are here'

I understand if there is other work to do. Or if they're with another patient. But honestly, not one employee had even come out to let us know or give a heads up for how long they were going to be.

Absolutely ridiculous.
Talk about points for customer service - rated 0 out of 10.

Only open for covid testing. There is nothing on their website, opening hours, Google, explaining this, nor is there a sign in the window advising people of this. 3 people turned away this morning. We can’t be the first that have turned up to the only pathology clinic in Altona that is open in a Saturday and have been turned away.

Anyway, don’t go to them as they are unprofessional

I got bitten by them.

I did a test with them on Sunday thinking that it will be fine to fly on Tuesday

To find out that Etihad actually only need the test to be collected 48 hours max

So i had another PCR and pay 300$ for me and my partner again at Histopath at the airport

Histopath are the real deal and they give you the results in 30 mins

Avoid Dorevitch very unprofessional

Dorevitch please teach the staff to only take / collect test 48 hours max before flight

Healius or Doreitch Pathology system is horrible I couldn’t get answers from them regarding about my travel test results other then saying my positive same day I went to Histopath Diagnostic in the Airport I tested Negative and very professional easy to process I highly recommend them. I used my time and money going to Healius or Doreitch Pathology worse experience.

2 hours wait to be seen for a fasting blood test. No communication from staff and almost an hour between last patient being seen and next in line. Will be resisting hospital provides referral to Melbourne Pathology in future.

Have tried to call multiple times to make an appointment for the past 3 hours. Some one finally answered after calling 10 times and I was told to call back in 10 minutes.
