A “nature wild”, full fenced dog park, worth for dogs to run and play, even not so big or without playing facilities. You can also have picnic with your dog under the sunshine or tree. If you are lucky during the blooming season, you enjoy the lovely Sakura, “Cherry Blossom Seminar”and “Sakura - Cherry Blossom Bi lingual walk and talk at Banksia Park”, which is so cool, amazing and beautiful!

Banksia Park off lead dog park is one of Melbourne's best fully-fenced dog parks, located at the Northern Car Park of Banksia Park behind the Heide Museum.

This is one of our most popular adventure location for our dogs that are still working on there recall. There are three bushy areas for the dogs to explore and small inner loops and somewhat of a large board loop track to walk around. This park is large enough if your dogs aren't getting on well with another dog you can take them to the other side out of sight to run and play.

The dog community is very friendly, often very helpful and is rarely empty. though there are occasionally dog scuffles as its a common parks for dogs working on skills.

Though the park is not well maintained by state parks. Many holes from dogs digging, flooded / large mud puddles, one water fountain not working and no bin so poo bags left beside gate if even pickup at all.

This is a must see dog park for any dog who loves to play or still working on the recall.

Awesome space that’s all fenced for the dogs to explore. The walking track around the outside is good for owners. Bring mozzie repellent, especially after heavy rain because they’re out in force here!

A great fully fenced park for dogs, a hidden gem within the grounds of Banksia Park. Dogs love sniffing all of nature’s smells and having the open space within the fenced area to let their crazy out. Zoomies are a must 😝🐶

Love this park. We have been coming here for a couple of months now. Very friendly dogs, friendly owners, shade and space. Also a couple of water stations for the dogs on hot days. Highly recommend bringing your puppy here for some early socialisation and off lead training in a safe setting.

Enormous enclosed dog park with doggie water fountains. This park always has loads of dogs playing. The pathway around the dog park is beautiful. The people that regular the dog park are very friendly. My dog and I love it!

Simply amazing. Massive and secured, you just need to keep your eyes on your dog because if they are away you won't see them if some fights starts between the dogs!

The park itself is fantastic - large, beautiful and secure. The multiple people who bring big, aggressive, undesexed dogs and let them off leash - not fantastic.

Very excellent dog park. You can see the entry from the north car park. The park is one of the largest we have been to on Melbourne. It has a variety of natural areas including dense shrubs, trees and grassy plains providing heaps for dogs to explore. The park has a great track running through it. You will usually find larger breeds of dog at this park.

Great very large, fenced in, Off Lead Dog Park at the Northern end of and within Banksia Park. Lots of grass, benches, shady trees, obstacles to jump over and around. Dog taps/water fountains available. The dog park is extremely popular, especially on nice weekends, and parking can be difficult competing with other people using the rest of the beautiful park for walks, picnics, BBQs, ball games etc. Dogs are allowed outside the dog park, but LEASH ON only! Please respect this as many people are afraid of dogs and don't welcome them. That's why this gorgeous dog park is here. Please bring your own poo bags and take them with you when you leave. There are no bins at all within the park for any sort of rubbish at all.

Great place to take your dog's. Sometimes snakes can be seen there in warmer months but the grass is kept low to combat that.

Remember to bring dog bags ans there is no bin to leave it there so you need to take it out.

Large off lead park, great for a bit of free range dog roaming, sniffing and playing with other dogs. The dog bowl inside the off lead area was a bit high for our little fella but there was a lower one just outside.

Large fully fenced park with lots of big trees and bushes. My dog had a great time playing with the other friendly doggies. Plenty of carparks too.
