Kep Whitley

We visited last week and had the Gingerbread Ice-Cream topped with Vanilla Cognac Sauce and Gingerbread Crumbles. Absolutely loved it. I never thought that Gingerbread would taste as good as it did as a soft serve. It had an amazing texture, silky smooth. Every mouthful was extremely satisfying. They change their flavours every 2 weeks. Which means that next week they would have the new Christmas Pudding flavour. So exciting!

We also got a box of Chocolate Bonbons, all of different flavours. The chocolate bonbons are hand painted by the owner Kep. They are like mini pieces of art, not one of them is exactly the same. It makes the perfect gift for any occasion!

The outlet is really cute, with a few seats facing the outside of the store opposite the counter. Customers would also be able to watch through a glass window to see how their drinks and chocolate bonbons are prepared by the staff.

A fabulous gem in the Docklands. A boutique little fine chocolate shop. I love the layout of the store, friendly service and the deliciousness it contains inside. The atmosphere is great, it's cosy and all the items on display are sending out this temptation you can't resist. Who could say no to those sweet sweet bon bons. The blue latte is delicious with the right sweetness, the bonbons creates magical moment in your mouth and the loaded softserve... say no more. It's almost a moment where I feel like yelling out ' shut up and take my money already' .. defo worth checking out even in winter.. hot choc calling. #yum

Me: It's like mnnnph mmmm yummmmm. Shhh I gotta finish it.

Literally after a good hour of talking about work over lunch all we could do was talk about the ice cream in front of us. AMAZING and recommend everyone for the welcome distraction and escape of everything other than a cold treat!

This place is FANTASTIC!!! Kep's chocolates are like little works of edible instagram-worthy contemporary art. So fancy, and SO delicious, and she even does artisan icecream sandwiches. #newfavouritedesserts

I have now ordered 4 lockdown chocolate boxes and know I will keep on ordering more. The chocolates are not only beautiful but really tasty. Really lovely and interesting flavor combinations that make these so special. They make wonderful gifts but are also great to keep and enjoy yourself 😁 Kep has been incredibly responsive to any questions I've had and went out of her way to ensure my chocolates arrived safe and sound. This is a small business that goes above and beyond to not only provide a great product but an exceptional service. I can't wait to order more chocolates but also try the ice-cream over summer post lockdown.

An absolutely stunning little gem that we're so glad we stumbled across! Beautiful choccies that look more like artworks and quality ice cream, as well as lots of other treats to buy in store. The staff are super sweet and provide really personalised service. This will definitely be my go-to next time I need a pick me up or a special little gift!

I've only tried their orange and mint hot chocolates , but that alone is worth 5 stars. If you haven't tried them, you must. (they come with a small biscuit too)

It’s always an absolute pleasure visiting the team at Kep Whitley. I love how much detail goes into their ice cream sundaes! I treated myself to one of their decadent vegan ice cream sundaes. My hubby also thoroughly enjoys their hot chocolates especially the mint flavour. Cheers for always greeting us with a smile :)

I love the caramelized white chocolate although everything else I have tried has been beautiful too. The ice-cream is lovely & a the flavours are a little bit different. Kep is also very helpful with any questions or requests I have made.

Amazing! only thing better than the chocolate is Kep herself. You cant help but feel joyful and happy in this place. The soft serve ice cream is one of the most amazing things Ive ever eaten.

I purchased some of Kep's beautiful Easter Eggs for my family to be delivered, and I was very impressed to find them personally delivered the very next day! Fantastic communication/service from Kep with regards to order/delivery instructions and was called straight away by two separate family members to say how much they loved the chocolate eggs.
I highly recommend Kep's chocolates and will definitely be making purchases from her again in the future :)

Stumbled across this place whilst on break going for a walk. Sign out the front mentioned home made soft serve and for onlyt $6.50 get the lux edition. Never had home made softserve so thought I would give it a try, and I'm glad I did because it's 10/10. The shop is cosy and vast selection of chocolates, biscuits and ice creams on display which all look amazing.

I will definitely be back!

What a delight. We visited Melbourne and popped in for the homemade soft serve with lemon curd and coconut - amazing is an understatement. Also got some of the milk chocolate praline and nut clusters - yum, yum, yum!

We tried the pear and ginger softserve ice-cream, which was excellent. The ice-cream itself was great, but the ginger caramel sauce really made it. Also, the waffle cone it was served in (usually the forgotten part of the ensemble) was tasty and crispy, and not too bread-ey. We were already impressed but then the coconut milk vanilla chai arrived. This thing really knocks your socks off. Easily the best chai I've ever had. Rich and creamy, while the spices are strong enough that you can actually taste them, in particular the vanilla. (Most chais are made so cheaply that you barely get a hint of cardamon.)

Despite the obvious attention to quality, the prices were reasonable. Perhaps because the docklands is so lightly travelled. I try not to go near the docklands if I can help it, but stumbling across this place certainly made it worth the walk.

Wonderfully-painted chocolates that look like little artworks, with various interesting flavour choices. Lots of other tasty sweet options too. Friendly staff, it's a pleasure to visit.

YUM :) have been in store and also received delivery during COVID-19, complete with a beautiful personalised note (just finished a couple of bonbons that were secretly stashed away). Beautiful items, delicious flavours and can't wait to visit in person again

I just tried the hazelnut hot chocolate and it was awesome! Different kind of milks are also available so that's perfect! I will definitively come back to try chocolate or icecream...

Delicious and beautiful. Finding a place where you can see someone taking a risk to pursue their passion is a little like finding hidden treasure. This awesome little shop is absolutely worth a visit
