Pok Pok Junior

$18 for a sensational crispy pork belly in fragrant rice. Get one in you! Great taste and value in the city. In fact, gonna smash another one today for lunch I think as I am craving those flavours again.
Don’t know why but the one in Docklands is more costly, with paying extra for rice is about $26 and didn’t taste nearly as good as it is here.

Worth it. Service was quick and friendly and the food comes out in a timely fashion. Obviously if you’re working in the city lunch is gonna be hard to find a seat. So grab an early brunch.

We tried the crispy roast pork belly and flat rice noodles and they were both delicious! Super fast service - seated immediately and food came 5 mins after ordering! Good pricing. No toilets inside but there's a public one nearby outside. 1.5 % surcharge on regular cards, so bring cash! It's a pretty tight space so unless you're seating outside I probably wouldn't consider it accessible.

I visited with 4 others at around 1pm on a Wednesday. It was busy but we got a table quickly. We sat outside which was really nice, it's a great spot. I ordered the flat rice noodles with vegetables and no egg for $15.50. It was really delicious and decent value for the price. The service was good and quite fast. The menu had a lot of options and was very customisable, which as a vegetarian I appreciate. Overall I recommend coming here for some nice Thai food and good service!

We started with the prawn crackers and satay sauce which was a huge portion. The fish cakes were the juiciest and best I’ve had in Melbourne. The broth with the noodles was amazing and the green curry was the crowd pleaser.

We ordered the corn fritters, crispy pork Kana and the pineapple chicken rice.
The crispy pork was a real highlight!

Pok Pok Junior is definitely one of my go-to places for Thai food in Melbourne CBD. The food is super tasty and the place has a good ambiance if you're dining in.
I also grab my coffee from here everyday and can say it is very consistent and delicious. They also have a good selection of breakfast/snack options available.
Best part is the owners and staff are very friendly and I have always received excellent customer service here.

Love going to Pok Pok Junior for a feed. Their Khao Mun Gai and Green Chicken Curry is so delicious I’ve ordered it numerous times! Quick service as well.

Very tasty, authentic Thai food. Tom yum soup + green chicken curry were great. (Chicken pieces perhaps a little big, but no worries) also happy hour has $7 Singha tap beer pots. Overall good value and the food came out quickly and was hot and fresh. Even though there was only one staff doing table service she managed us well and was attentive.

Lovely Thai food. Great value. Good variety. Easy and fast. Not fancy but a good overall experience.

I stumbled upon this place thanks to Mealpal and honestly I loved the chicken with cashew. The quantity was just right and not overfilling but I am a small built plus this is mealpal who provide meals for 8$ so I don’t expect them to provide me with the full quantity that I would usually pay when I dine in. I would definitely be dining in there next time to try other food

one of the best thai cuisine in the CBD so far. I had spicy pork belly, The portion is worth the price as well as the taste. Very saucy but the pork skin was so crispy 💯 Their curry was ok, not a big fan of curry
