Meriton Suites North Sydney

We booked a one-bedroom suite instead of a sea-view room and were assigned room 1808. Still, we were able to enjoy beautiful sea views and the Sydney Opera House from the balcony or bedroom! The location is excellent, with very convenient transportation, just a 3-minute walk from both the train and bus stations. The only thing to note is that the hotel doesn't provide housekeeping service, but an express service was provided on the fourth day of our stay.(Thank you DHOMZ) Overall, it offers great value for money and comes highly recommended.

What a wonderful stay! The light, spacious rooms and friendly staff made this a wonderful spot to stay when visiting the city! It is within walking distance from the Station, making it an easy, and slightly cheaper alternative to staying in the heart of the city. We appreciated the room being ready ahead of time allowing an unexpected early check in. The rooms were 99% cleaned; as expected for the price point. It was great to have a quieter atmosphere (than say Meriton in Sussex St) for an enjoyable stay.

Love the location! Very close to the train station. Surrounded by the supermarket, restaurant and cafe. Staff were knowledgeable. The room was clean and I absolutely loved it! Will definitely stay there again!

I have stayed here a number of times due to my business travels and its location is ideal. The rooms are well sized and the service apartments have everything you need. Staff at the lobby are very friendly and it is an easy process. Parking is also quick & easy and onsite. Recent roadworks have added some challenges but nothing that you cannot overcome.

I can't fault my experience at Meriton Suites in any way. Essentially hotel service at serviced apartment prices. It's a newer hotel in a convenient location for nearby work conferences. First time visiting Meriton Suites for work nearby and glad I made the change. Had a lovely 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment on the 23rd floor with the balcony facing straight out over the Opera House, Bridge and Harbour. The room's view was comfortably higher than surrounding buildings. Parking was directly underneath the hotel itself - this is important because often when you visit a hotel that has "onsite parking" you discover it's actually a 3rd party carpark a block away in a different street the hotel simply has an arrangement with. The property is completely self contained - no gimmicks or tricks, no shared access, elevators or car parks. Service was excellent. A request for help over the phone to set the multi room air con system resulted in someone actually attending the room immediately to assist. I also liked that even though it's an apartment hotel, I couldn't notice any difference, and I really liked that after hours there were two polite and professional security guards at reception from late until early morning, happy to chat and point me to a nearby 24 hour convenience store when I couldn't sleep. To round things out the pricing was very reasonable too. Will stay again.

Nestled in North Sydney with walking distance to North Sydney train station Meriton Suits made our stay very comfortable. Only just one station away from the city center you can enjoy a quiet stay away from hussle and bustle of city yet just a stone throw to city.

Close to lots of food and venues. Serviced room was great but we did not end up cooking in room. We did use laundry which was great to have when travelling with carry on only.

Nice location, despite the nearby roadworks offering some minor disruption. Easy to transport to Sydney CBD by (nearby) bus or walk to ferry/train. Nice rooms. Friendly staff. Coles and Aldi only block away.

We always stay at the Meriton North Sydney whenever we visit Sydney. The rooms are always very clean and spacious. The staff are very friendly and always go out of their way to make sure our stay is special. Would highly recommend staying here! Thanks to the team for the great hospitality.

Overall, I had a great experience with my stay in hotel. All staff were incredibly helpful, above all I would like to name Sanchit for his good gesture and service. The room was wonderful and clean. Its located at 5 min walking distance from North Sydney train station.

We stayed here back in November 2021 for our 25th wedding anniversary and we had the most amazing view of Sydney! I've been meaning to write a review since we stayed as it was truly one of my favourite hotels and such great value. When we arrived in our room, there was a bottle of bubbly and balloons for our anniversary, that was so sweet. There was a bit of a mix up with the parking but they sorted it out pretty easily. I can't wait to visit Sydney again and we would definitely stay here again.

We recently stayed at the Meriton suites in North Sydney while attending a wedding at Luna Park. The location was perfect and very close to everything that we needed. Staff were wonderful and very accommodating. Our suite was amazing, two bedroom and two bathrooms, very clean and spacious. The highlight was definitely the breathtaking view of the Harbour Bridge and Opera House from our suite. It was worth every cent waking to that view in the morning. Highly recommend the Meriton and would definitely stay again with my family 🥰🥰

This was the perfect place to stay for a night. Rooms look like they have been recently renovated. The staff was friendly and helpful. It was also close to a supermarket, bottle shop and public transport. Very good value for money and I am looking to book again for next year. Highly recommended.

Set on the perimeter of the North Sydney CBD, the hotel is about 10mins walk to North Sydney train station and does not have any taxi rank in front of the hotel. The street in front of the hotel is quite busy during weekdays, but at night and on weekends not so much.

Loved the 1 bedroom suite at the Meriton. This was better than we expected. Everything was close to perfect. Clean, tidy, modern. Wonderful balcony. Fully equipped kitchen was excellent. Also fully equipped laundry. Staff are extremely courteous, helpful & professional. Large fridge compared to bar fridges in other places. Fitness centre on Lev 3 was excellent too with a good sized spa and a great size pool. Loved the sauna too. The only feedback I would provide about the room: the bedside lamps need to be brighter. I couldn't read with the light from those lamps. Also, there should be easy access to log into Netflix and watch movies which we usually do at night. It was way too cumbersome to log into Netflix through Chromecast. They should consider having direct access to Netflix. But these are minor issues. Overall, I loved this place and will definitely stay there again. The secret to this is, it's cheaper than the city and it's just a couple of stations away from the city!

Meriton North Sydney is great. The lifts require smart cards from your room. Rooms are great, plenty of space, balconies with a view of the harbour. Beds are comfy. Full size kitchen. In a great location. Supermarkets, restaurants and take away close by. Highly recommended.

we originally booked this hotel in 2019 pre covid, and although the pices have increased slightly, it is still incredible value - large, comfortable suites, incredible view, and great location.
we had read reviews stating that reception was unmanned and the staff unhelpful - from our experience, it is totally the opposite - there was always someone on hand to help when needed. we had a fantastic view of the fireworks on NYE and found the location perfect - public transport, coles and Aldi really close for food etc.
