Duart Homestead

We stayed here for 2 nights for our friend's wedding. The rooms exceeded our expectations and we would highly recommend staying here! They were extremely clean and very comfy with little complimentary condiments such as jams, tea, coffee (coffee machine included), hot chocolate powder, a bottle of wine in the fridge and two little containers of milk.
We would not hesitate to stay again if we were looking for accommodation in Maffra again. It was about 4 minutes away from Mewburn Park Homestead where the wedding was held so if you are heading there then don't hesitate to consider staying here!

We had a beautiful room to ourselves as they had a bus load of people in the big dining room
We felt like royalty. The food was awesome and the drinks were more than reasonably priced.
The service was great. What a way to spend a day. We recommend it highly

Had my wedding there on the 27th of aug 2022 and it was beautiful, owners were flexible with my changes ❤ & accommodated our cultural needs. The B&B was BEAUTIFUL we enjoyed a sleep in and late check out. The staff were friendly and the bar staff was awesome 👏🏽 Nathan and Natasha thank you for having us ❤

Amazing hosts, amazing boutique accommodation. So much thought has gone into the stables styling. Local cheese platter, farm fresh breakfast and snacks to enjoy (inclusive!). Perfect for a quiet weekend away, and base for exploring.
Welcoming hosts make you feel like part of a big country family. Would rate higher if possible - loved it!

Amazing service! Everyone was very welcoming. The room was gorgeous. The food was some of the best food I’ve ever had.

Tim provided service that went above and beyond. What an amazing customer service staff member. He was attentive, friendly and accommodating. Overall the venue staff were hospitable, friendly and went out of their way to ensure the group were well looked after. The grounds looked stunning particularly with the grape vines changing into beautiful autumn colours. The food was tasty and exceeded the quality of other venues that charge $100 per head. I would definitely recommend this venue to anyone wanting to host a function.

Went to a family wedding here, the service and dining were all outside in the gardens. The setting is lovely, the canapes and buffet meal were excellent.

Nathan and his team recently catered for our wedding in August and it couldn't have gone smoother. Nathan was fantastic at answering all our questions, responded to emails promptly; and was very accomodating throughout the whole process. The food itself was fantastic and plentiful, more than enough. Service on the night was seemless and we didn't even notice the staff packing up. We couldn't recommend them highly enough.

What a fantastic place to hold a wedding, you can go as formal or informal as you like, the owners are very understanding of what you would like and offer such a variety for all budgets and look after you and your guests. The accommodation on site leaves nothing to be desired.

We stayed at The Stables a weekend in June. Perfectly executed loft style accommodation. Bathroom was incredible. Can't recommend any higher.

Absolutely fantastic Nathan's menu for lunch was amazing we were made to feel special and I loved the white table clothes and napkins great presentation great service and most of all beautiful tasty and well balanced dishes would highly recommend

Duart homestead located in Maffra is a top class establishment run by Nathan and Natasha. It is a family business in the tradition of high quality and remarkable value for money.

Fully licensed and excellent food. They cater for funtions, weddings and local events. Allow Duart to assist you to make your day extra special and a memorable occasion.

Wedding reception is a specialty in this historic homestead located atop McLeans hill and once occupied by the McLean family which, was part of the founding forefathers of the township of Maffra Victoria.

Why not give Duart a visit? It will be well worth your effort.
