This place is amazing,we were a group of four motorcycle riders, Louise went above and beyond as a host,she certainly makes you feel welcome. Would highly recommend bed in a shed as a base if your touring around Tassie. 10 out of 10,best accommodation I've stayed in by a country mile😁😁😁👍👍👍👍👍

Louise was an amazing host, arranging food and drinks above and beyond any place I have stayed before. The facilities are beautifully decorated and some awesome motorcycle roads lead into the area. If you’re motorcycling in Tasmania, this a must stay, especially with great mates.

We had 10 guys on a motorcycle trip around Tassie and stayed in this awesome accommodation which was so comfortable after a day on the bikes. Not only was the accommodation more than suitable, but the host was amazing and understanding of our needs after travelling for 4 days. Would recommend staying here and would stay here again. Joe

Not only is the Shed a beautiful, clean and calm place to rest. The owner also looks after her guests like they're family. Perfect place to be after a long day on the road!

This place is unique and fantastic. A MUST for any bikers or other travellers. Brilliantly built and set out. The host goes out of his way to help you, even lent us his car to drive 20 km for dinner. Fully self contained with breakfast included. Biker knik knacks everywhere.

Bed in a Shed is a *must* stay while in Tasmania! Tucked away in the quaint and quiet small town of Fingal, this place is just gorgeous. Immediately upon walking in, it just feels right. The decor is beautiful and the entire place is drenched in natural light. For motorcycle lovers there are lots of treats with riding memorabilia galore, secure motorcycle storage and lots of great motorcycle conversation with our host! We enjoyed a leisurely ride from Hobart to Fingal, and we were then treated to the company of the amazing hosts of Bed in a Shed. The 'shed' has a huge couch, Netflix, wifi, kitchen, outdoor area, lots of books, a guitar, 2.5 bathrooms, and it sleeps up to 12 people. Seriously - we just loved this place! Wish we could have stayed a few more nights. The perfect country get-away, only 1 hour to Launceston, 30 minutes to the stunning East Coast and just over two hours to Hobart. You won't regret this stay!

We stayed here for 2 nights in this motorcycle themed accomodation. I just loved ambiance and decor of this place. They provide a very CLEAN AND MAINTAINED accommodation, beds, kitchen, barbecue, bathrooms, sitting area and seperate smoking area.

They have clearly mentioned rules of using the place which is why it is so well maintained and clean. The owners run the business very passionately.

Can't speak highly enough of Darren & Louise who put this shed together! 3 bed share to a room, superbly kitted out, ultra comfy, wood heater blazing on arrival (it was a chilli & damp late arvo/evening), spotless, tidy ... I'm running out of good words. It's an ideal spot to explore Mid-east-north-east backroads and coastal areas. We chose Fingal for it's great location to access off-road adventure tracks right over to St Helens. I'll certainly be back!

Stayed there for about 6 weeks or so whilst drilling holes at Mathinna in December 2019 and Jan-Feb 2020. Home away from home and solid top quality, like a Panther M100 single 600 or a Panther M120 650 single. Louise and Darren are great fun and place is 5-star. The cats are great as long as they don't leap on you; one of them is rather large and solid. If you want a good pub meal I recommend St Mary's Hotel about 20mins east; excellent home-made pies with chips etc.

Thank you very much to Darren & Louise for a wonderful nights stay here. Beautiful warm fireplace was going when we arrived and every amenity was thought of and available to use from shampoo & conditioner in the shower to bread & cereals for brekky. Would definitely return if we were in the area again.

I literally had no expectation when I booked for this place. It was just the most random thing to do on a weekend of a business trip but I saw it online “bed in a shed” and I just had to try it.
I called them just to arrange the check-in time and the owner explained I could arrive later than the advertised check-in time. I just had to call them when I was on the neighboring city (I was driving from Hobart to Fingal) and he would be waiting for me. Later that day when I found that my mobile had no reception on the neighboring town or even there in Fingal (be aware of that if you have a Vodafone) I had no choice but to ask for a stranger’s phone on the street to call them. The owner answered promptly, even later than I said I would be there.
As soon as I got inside I fell in love with the shed. I’m a world traveler with 30+ countries in my passport and 200+ cities across the world and I can tell, The Shed is one of it’s kind. I never seen anything like this. It’s a must and with an awesome price. The decoration is something else, the next hour after I checked-in I spent a good time paying attention to the decoration and I could’ve spent many hours more. The items compose a unique ambiance and it’s almost as if they have an individual story to tell. The shed itself is this great construction with high ceilings (which I absolutely loved) that give the place an excellent perspective. The walls and ceiling are insulated, they also have double glazed windows that keeps a great temperature even with the high celling. Internet is fast and they have Netflix in the living room TV, I felt like home. The conversation with the hosts was just the best and they gave me extremely valuable tips for my next day drive. I just wish I had stayed longer. My subconscious also wished I had stayed longer so much that I ended up forgetting to give them back the keys.
Bottom line: if you are in the region or wanna do a big drive on the east coast like I did, alone or with your family, give this place a go!

The Bed In A Shed at Fingal is a bikers dream accomodation. The guys here have done an absolutely amazing job fitting out the shed. I have to give it 10* stars. The BEST PLACE to stay and I will definitely stay here again and suggest anyone reading this also stop for a few nights, you too will be amazed.

Cozy, fireplace, bbq, big open space, beautiful, has garage to park motorcycles (tools etc) and Louise is lovely. She loked after us and helped to arrange food

Bed in a shed was fantastic, our group of 13 fitted in perfectly, after a hard day's riding we got a great night's rest, comfy beds.

A great biker or group friendly location with excellent hosts.
A cosy must do stop over if travelling tassie.

Wow, what an amazing journey through such outstanding country travelling up from the coast. Upon arrival l was met with warmth and comfort. Fun and laughter, a treasure. Friendly and inviting, l shall return.

Louise is a perfect host. Clean and very comfortable. Value for money.

Great relaxing space & hosts, Louise & Darren, who went out of their way to make sure we had a fabulous time.

My favorite spot to park the bike and spend some nights in a beautiful environment, very helpful owners.
