Yes Optus Port Melbourne

Visited the store on Saturday afternoon with my son - our needs were a little complicated as he needed an eSIM for apple watch but doesn't yet have his own number or iPhone. Jonathan was very impressive, he was patient, helpful, knew his stuff and a pleasure to deal with. I work in telco and have abnormally high expectations of operatives - which he surpassed. He should be promoted. Meanwhile Optus Port Melbourne needs to update it's Saturday opening hours on Google! It closes at 3pm - not 6pm.

I had a problem with payment method since I got the SIM, I've been multiple times to Optus store in CBD and the customer service was awful, they only tried to sell me a more expensive plan...not solving my issue.

TODAY I went to the Optus store in port Melbourne, I found PAULA in the shop, she was so understanding and solved my problem, I'm giving 5 stars only for her assistance

Collin helped my grandma she doesn’t know much about her phone but he helped her understand.

They know there stuff in there things that other stores could not fix and also picked up things that were helpful on pricing.. best trained staff ive seen yet even the phone operators couldn't fix our issue but they had no problems. Quite ironic

I had an experience today at this store and I have to say that they have been fantastic. Jack did all he could to look after me in the upgrade of my phone. The guys at the Port Melbourne Optus are great, go see them for all your Phone needs!! Keep up the good work guys.

Had a fabulous customer experience with Montana Port Melbourne who was extremely helpful. I had been to Optus South Melbourne earlier and the customer service girl extremely unhelpful. Looking for good CS go to Port Melbourne

Very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable staff. The manager (Akshay) is excellent, with a really strong customer focus, and he has a good team.

Another great thing is that Optus has had an amazing 4G Wireless Broadband service for a year, with phenomenal speeds in the Port Melbourne / South Melbourne / Albert Park areas, which means you DON'T NEED THE NBN!!

My wireless broadband home internet costs less than an NBN service per month (for 500 GB per month of data) but gives me speeds 10-20x times faster! On occasion I've had peak download speeds of up to a 175 Mbps (!!!) and average speeds around 80 Mbps. Upload speeds are typically around 20-40 Mbps.

By contrast, my friends who have the NBN suffer typical download speeds of around 6Mbps.

The Optus store in Port Melbourne also offer 5G wireless broadband home internet in the Port Melbourne / South Melbourne / Albert Park area, though coverage is not yet complete (which is why I'm still stuck on 4G).

Bottom line: this Bay St Optus store is really worth a visit, especially if you are frustrated with the NBN.
