Bayswater Hotel & Motel

Shower needed attention, the shower head wouldn't stay at the top so we had to improvise and tie it there with some dental floss. The rooms are ok but I guess you get what you pay for.. Have the opinion that the cost of a hotel/motel is the comfort of the bed , the rating of the shower and how easy it is to park and get to the places you need to be. This sort of ticks the boxes but could be better. The room is cleaned daily though. My little cow liked it.

Tasty craft beers on tap, food decent but somewhat basic. Music is a classic pub playlist. Decor is homely but dated, service is mixed, depending on who you get. Again, look forward to renovations

My family and I went for the buffet yesterday at lunchtime for my birthday and we were very really happy with the food. My fave was the battered whiting which was exactly like the fish and chip shop. We will be going again soon 😋.

They offered very fair price buffet and drinks. Really enjoyed the food here. The buffet only costed $30/pp. Not way too many options but good enough to be very full.

I don't usually eat the food here, but the other day my mother and I went halves on a steak sandwich and oh my lord! That was the best steak sandwich I darn ever had. The new kitchen staff since management shifting have really cleaned up the menu and the food is a reflection of this. I thought I'd spoil myself one night for dinner with the new Catch of the Day special, which is their grilled barramundi with warm potato salad. That is the best cut of fish I have ever eaten at a pub, no kap. I highly recommend trying out the new menu if you haven't been there in a while. I have also heard good things about the chilli con carne burger, but am still yet to try it. Maybe will eat it next! Thanks for the good food.

Also forgot to mention that I love the scotch fillet here. I am not too much a fan of the sirloin but for like $4 more you get the best cut of steak I've ever tried. I personally like the mushroom gravy the best.

We went to the Bistro here for dinner a few nights ago and I am so happy to have found this place. Ever since moving to Perth I have been on the hunt for a local, down to earth pub with good food and a good atmosphere and I have finally found it. We were really impressed with everything here - the food was absolutely amazing and the prices are u believably cheap. I paid only $20 for my fish and chips and it was so nice. Not oily or covered in thick batter, just beautiful fresh, light fish and a lovely salad and chips to go with it. My partner had the grilled fish and was 10/10 happy with that too. The portion sizes were very generous, especially considering the low cost and high quality, the seating and tables were comfortable, the Coke was given to us in cans (with glasses) which I am a big fan of for avoiding flat coke that you often get on tap and all of the staff that we encountered were really lovely and welcoming. The menu was quite extensive with lots of nice looking things I’ll try in future and they also have a buffet which is a cool option. I did also notice a cocktail menu that had some really amazing sounding cocktails on it. I didn’t try any this time but I will another night and update the review. I very rarely find cocktails that I like but these all sounded great so that’s another big tick. All in all, this is just a really great place and I’ve lived down the road from it for many years without ever really noticing it so I’m glad we finally did.

Very competitively priced meals with a family-friendly environment, this place is now one of our regular dinner spots. We love the pizzas and halloumi chips, and the playground outside is a hit with our toddler.

I really liked this hotel. Located right next to Bayswater station great access to the city by train. The rooms are modern and comfortable and spacious. Downstairs is the pub with a food available. We arrived late from Sydney and was 9.45pm. I think the normal chef finished for the day however the supervisor on duty was able to cook the pizzas, it wasn't a problem. Coming from Sydney were it's a stuff you attitude, this was really wonderful to see. And the pizzas were nice. I highly recommend the Quality Bayswater.

If you are a vegetarian the options aren't too great. Pizzas were delicious. Vegie Stack was OK. Best steak eaten in a while. Fish and chips were great! Prices are still good. They did run out of some things on the menu, but front of house was really obliging to let me play add things on to my order. Minus the buffet its still a great place to eat.

Went there for my daughter's birthday and found the restaurant area to have great value for money buffet with the option of ordering off their menu as well. Their $10 wood fired pizzas are awesome, and the other menu items are delicious. The price of their food is surprisingly low for the high quality of food they serve up and service is friendly and welcoming. Definitely recommend and will be back! :)

Absolutely lovely staff. Incredibly helpful. Restaurant staff and bar staff were awesome. Food was delicious and huge servings! I was glad to be staying there as I doubt I could have moved much further after eating. Definitely recommend and would happily stay again.

Tuesday night a la carte meal was great. Entrees and mains were all tasty and of good size. Noticeably fast service with no compromise to quality. Great value, worth a visit. Buffet closed 'coz of the 'rona.

I haven't been stayed in this hotel but I do like the restaurant, good food, good price and good service. I am happy about the size of the dish. It will fill up your stomach for sure. I don't like some restaurants, price is high but food is less. I like almost all the dishes in the menu especially the pizza, it is a must to try. The buffet is also good and worth for the money. If it can have a couple more choices of the hot dish, it will be very nice. I like this restaurant.

I dined with my family at the bistro for lunch on sunday, we had a great time and could not fault the experience. Food was amazing no complaints from this table.
$12 Pizza came hot and was tasty with fresh ingredients.
Sizzling garlic prawn's 10/10

Excellent value for money. Staff very efficient and so friendly to the customers. Have been dining here a very long time. Good to see still open and keeping to their excellent standard.
