King Reef Resort & Caravan Park

Stayed at the caravan park at a beachfront site.
Sensational view.
Reception staff were amazing as was the Maintenance staff.
They were all very welcoming.
Local caught fish lunch at the hotel was awesome.
They were really flat out at the pub, but the service was still great.
Great view from the beachfront pub also.
Do yourself a favour and check this place out.

We had a fab stay at King Reef. The amenities are dated but clean & tidy. The camp sites large & not overcrowded.
The only downside for us was the pool required some maintenance on the pebble-dashed surface as it was a little uncomfortable on the feet.
The tavern food was delicious & the service fantastic (even made to order gluten-free pasta for my daughter) with fantastic views & sea breezes.

Fantastic stay here. Room and facilities are fantastic for the price we paid. Everything you need and then some. Great pillows and fluffy towels and a coffee pod machine. Then make sure you have dinner at the pub that was one of the best fish of the days I've ever had in my life. And not expensive - considering the quality ingredients and Michelin star quality and taste. We're planning our next visit. Thanks!

Love this park ! It is really maintained well and everyone is super friendly . The meals at the pub are terrific as are the staff.

A hidden gem on the beach.
The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Even helped you back onto your caravan site. All amenities, camp kitchen, laundry facilities & pool were very clean.
Dinner at the hotel was excellent. It was good value for money. Great, barista made coffees at the cafe.

The staff are wonderful. Always smiling with pleasure. The food even at cairns prices do very well. After several (10) weeks of dinning my professional opinion recommend giving it a go. You won’t be disappointed.

Great place to caravan and the bar and tucker section overlooking the water is excellent even just for a lunch ride. Only an hour and half from Cairns and great for kids big and small

Stayed in the park in our van, great location on the beach, lots of shade and grass areas, pet friendly, great amenities, awesome service. food and drinks at your door step. Highly recommend.

Travelling fulltime for 7 months around Australia in a van and the check in service here was the best we had experienced. Beautiful location and great resort feel. Will definitely be back

Good Caravan sites, good size, park right on the beach, hotel rooms, cabins a good size bottle shop and an awesome pool and big pub with a cafe across the road all under the one banner and just to top it off and best off all the staff 💯 out of 💯 😁👍

Beautiful views ,lovely park, the amenities are showing their age but great showers and spotless. Good meals at the bar / restaurant.

The owners and staff were so friendly and beyond helpful. We hired a unit for 2 nights. The room was a lot bigger than we thought, beds were comfy, pool was beautiful, and the park was very clean. Had a meal at the restaurant and it was absolutely beautiful

The room was very clean and well presented, with all facilities. Great location right on the beach with a well laid out resort.
The food in the restaurant was delicious and highly recommended, the reef and beef was delicious - the beer was cold too...😉

I have lived locally for over 20yrs & the King Reef can definitely be called a Resort now.
The staff are fabulous, excellent bar service (Wendy). Bistro has some of the best meals I've tasted, fast, happy & efficient service.
Stunning views & very welcoming.

Very family friendly, great to have the bottle shop and bistro on site. Very well priced considering its the only options too, so we were very impressed.
The staff were lovely, had an easter egg hunt, pancakes and live music on 2 days.
Fantastic place and will definitely go back.

Absolutely exceeded my expectations. The room for three of us was spacious, well equipped and immaculately cleaned. The staff And locals were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to lok after us. Great meals. Reasonable prices. I can't fault this place and will definitely be back soon.
