Nene Chicken

The true mark of service isn’t if it’s all perfect, but how they correct mistakes when it’s made. The order got mistaken and wasn’t made, when I informed the owner / manager, he quickly rectified the situation.

I try fried chicken places all around Melbourne and when I tried nene at Eastland I was at first skeptical because it was a small store but I was mind blown. The service was quick and fast and very kind and accomodating and the food was made fresh and it was really tasty. My kids loved everything also, will be coming back definitely!

I can't understand why people complain about the poor service over here. I did made an order and probably it's my fault to point to the classic range jumbo instead of boneless chicken as both price are same. And because my order is very particular, it's for the children at home, and they don't like bones chicken. After I told them the reason, they explain to me and swap me a box of boneless one. I appreciated the beautiful Chinese young lady that make the swap for me. It's the first good impression they gave to the customer that makes me want to buy from them.

I can't say how good the service is but they give you more chicken than their competitors and they have a wider flavour variety!

Fried chicken done ridiculously good!! The slaw is quite good too...Freshness is what makes it stands out. Very affordable and not a lot of difference with KFC on pricing. Good choice if you are after fried chicken minus the oily taste.

Chicken is super juicy considering its a food court. Good value for money in my opinion
