Dr Nia Ehsani

Dr Ehsani has been my doctor for over 13 years. She is the most caring and compassionate doctor I have ever come across and an expert in her field. She delivered all my babies and was there with me every step of the way. So thankful and grateful to have an amazing doctor!

Dr Nia is one of the most caring, knowledgeable and professional doctors I've ever had. The fee was very fair and reasonable for the level of support provided and was clearly explained at the very beginning of process by her friendly staff. I felt really supported throughout the whole pregnancy as Dr Nia was always available whenever I needed assistance or was concerned about anything. She was always there for me reassuring everything will be alright and it did. Her post operative follow up was also impeccable.
I believe giving birth to a child specially the first one is the most precious experience a couple would ever experience, so it is really important to choose a knowledgeable, trustworthy Doctor and Im glad I chose the right one.

Dr Nia was our obstetrician for my first baby, she was so caring and calm. She was always so patient and answered all our questions. The most important thing is during the labour, she was there and managed my delivery so smoothly as I had to go for c-section, she being very considerate and for providing us with the best care we can ever have.

Dr. Nia has been super caring from the very beginning and in every stage of the way. She provided assurance and professional advice before, during and after pregnancy and we felt really comfortable with her decisions and diagnosis. She was available via the phone for guidance and support and this service was totally priceless.

Not only we loved our experience with Dr. Nia but we did love her as our doctor as she was truely like a caring mother in our exciting and sometimes challenging journey of having our baby.

We looked around for many obstetricians but we found Dr Ehsani to be the best as she was very caring , understanding and family oriented. She listens to your needs and we felt comfortable throughout my pregnancy as this was my first baby and i was very nervous. Her fees were great comparing to other doctors as we were told at the first visit about her fee which made it really easy for us and we could plan ahead. we were clear on what we had to pay, no hidden fees. She is very confident and experienced in her field. My delivery went very smooth and i would definitely go back for my second baby. Highy highly recommend Dr Ehsani.

Words are never enough to express my gratitude to Dr. Nia for her amazing professionalism, commitment, care and attention. In my unusual pregnancy journey, she was very supportive and made the right decision on the right time, she saved me and my baby 🙏🏻. Me and my husband don’t know how thanks her. Dr Ehsani delivered my baby boy in early January this year. I could not have asked for a better obstetrician throughout my pregnancy and for my delivery. She is genuinely caring, warm, very knowledgeable and professional. She always took the time to answer any questions or concerns I had and explained things in everyday terms which was great considering this was my first pregnancy/child.

Her team and staff are wonderful and welcoming as well just to top it off!

I cannot thank Dr Ehsani enough for the delivery of my son and for the care and support not only during my pregnancy and labour but also the visits in hospital everyday I was there after he was born.

Dr Nia was our obstetrician for the birth of our daughter in Sep 2020 during Melbourne covid-19 lockdown . From start to finish he was absolutely amazing - in addition to being a brilliant doctor, she was kind and compassionate and took the time to explain things and answer all our questions. She is very considered, took no risks and missed nothing - thanks to her and Dr panah , our baby was born safe and well. During labour and the birth he was incredible - thanks to her we had a very safe, trauma free birth. She is an absolute expert and it was a huge relief for us to know we were under his care. The staff in Their office are absolutely lovely .
We can’t recommend them more highly, would give ten stars if we could.

Dr Nia was our obstetrician for our first baby and she was very understanding throughout the whole pregnancy. She convinced my wife to go for c-section and for pain relief even though there was resistance from my mother in law to get either done. She was always so patient and answered all our questions.
Megan who works at reception is a gem of a person and very polite and humble and she has excellent interpersonal skills.
The whole team who performed the c-section were really professional and Dr. Nia's post operative care was also good. She even gave us her cell phone number just in case anything went wrong.
We have no private health insurance and it was too expensive but her service is worth every penny. We didn't have a good experience though with the post operative care received by the staff at Mitcham Private Hospital

No words can describe how great Dr Ehsani is. She is the most caring, knowledgeable and family orientated Obstetrician and Gynaecologist I know. There was not one moment I felt uncomfortable. During pre-pregnancy and while pregnant I always felt reassured and everything was outlined clearly to me. It is clear that she puts her patients first and ensures they are well looked after.

As this was my first pregnancy I was initially nervous, like most first time mums. However, Dr Ehsani made me feel safe, calm and reassured every step of the way. She made my pregnancy enjoyable and despite needing a caesarean, even then Dr Ehsani made it easy.

I will definitely be going back here for all future pregnancies and any gynaecology related issues. I would highly recommend her to anyone.

Dr Nia Ehsani delivered our baby girl in May 2019. Both the delivery and the care we received throughout the entire pregnancy were seamless. Dr Eshani and her team receive our highest recommendation and sincerest thanks.

Dr Nia is among the best of the best. We had been referred to her by our GP as thw pregnancy was a little bit complicated. Dr Nia was able to explain in detail all the issues and outcomes. On every appointment that we had, she was personable, very easy to understand and dedicated her time (never rushed us). She was able to guide us to the journey with his kind manner and make us feel very comfortable even though at times it was very stressful.
Not only was Dr Nia amazing his partner Dr. Panah and their staff was very accommodating and always offered to help. We always felt like we were in very good hands.

I was recommended Nia by a friend and I'm so glad I did! She was easy to talk to didn't talk technical so I could understand. Her staff and her are highly professional and they obviously love what they do! I truely believe my pregnancy and labour were very successful and I rarely googled anything as she said it's her job to worry about me, and I really felt listened to and looked after! As a matter of fact, I have been with my daughter during her child birth- hospitalization at the Mitcham private hospital. Dr Nia Ehsani, as well as the Mitcham's proffetional specialist team and all staffs, were definitely doing a greate job. Luckilly, we experienced a confident treatment, and mother- child care that I have never seen before.

Dr Nia was our OB prior and during the midst of COVID-19 back in March this year, helping us in any way she could by going above and beyond what you may expect in difficult situations like this, providing us by all the support and expert advices we needed every step of the way. Informative , and responsible for your situation, available 24hr when u need her if she's your pregnancy care doctor.
Not sure why some people here said shes more towards c-section. She recommended me to go with natural birth plan because the condition was ok. She just suggested to change the plan just if there's a complication or special situation.

We had our 2 lovely babies with Dr Nia, she is thorough, knowledgeable and caring practitioner. It's fantastic to see doctors who love their work. Thank you!
