Brilliant service with friendly staff. Fast and punctual both heading over and coming home. Made the day easy to plan, especially taking a large group. Smooth boarding process, comfortable seating inside and out. Didn’t make use of the onboard snack bar, but was nice to know we could have if we wanted to. Will definitely be return customers! Could not fault our experience. Thank you.

On time departure of ferry
If you book from klook, remember redeem your printer receipt before queuing.
A must go place if you’re in perth, cheaper if you depart here rather than Perth city.

Well organised and clean ferry ride. We even saw some humpback whales on the journey to Rottnest Island. Highly recommend renting out bicycles and snorkel gear as well!

Fantastic trip in comfort on the ferrie, beautiful area alot of history retained and glorious beaches . Can travel by bus stopping along the way. Bike can be hired on the island, which is fairly flat. Little Qs a joy to watch .

Great day trip we had (Me, Daughter and Hubby). Starting point was from Fremantle. Clean boat. Quick trip for 25 mins only.
In Rottnest we enjoyed the breathtaking view all around. Beautiful beaches. We hired bikes and went around checking the island. Had a good swim. Had some lunch and took some memorable pictures for sure. Will be back in the near future to stay at the island for couple of nights and explore more.

Always happy with Rottnest express services. Tickets can be booked easily online or at the ticket shed. The staff is friendly and the ride was enjoyable. If you book a return ticket, you can move the time or day for your return, you just have to wait until the “stand by” line and hope for a free spot, which is mostly the case unless it’s a public holiday where the ferries get booked out.

Fast & efficient Ferry service. Very professional staff. Safety focus. Parked in all day garage near perth electric bike; hired e-bike for day. Only 5 min pedal to Rottnest Ferry B-Shed. After only 30 min ferry ride, I was biking on the Island. Repeat reverse on return. Whole experience was very convenient & efficient.

Efficient ferry service from B Shed Fremantle port to Rottnest Island. Takes about 30 min. The ferry is rather stable and doesn't induce seasickness. Costs about AUD80 per pax which can be conveniently purchased online. Staff is helpful and friendly. Instructions given are clear. The ferry is clean and spacious enough, with sufficient seats. Some outdoor seats are available. There is also a bar selling snacks.

My family visited Rottnest Island for the first time in Perth, Western Australia.
(January 16, 2023).
To get there, we took this ferry from Fremantle.
It is highly recommended that those who suffer from seasickness take motion sickness medicine 30 minutes before on boarding!
This ferry have air conditioned, comfortable seat, well equipped, and arrives at its destination safely!!!
So, I highly recommend this ferry if you want to visit Rottnest Island!

Pleasant experience from booking to return from Rottnest. Easy booking system and kids travelled free with Quokka Club. And definitely the cheapest as compared to other competitors.

And bicycle rental booked online where we get the bike straight after we docked and return right before we boarded which saves us so much hassle from queuing up to collect and return.

Snacks bar in the ferry if you get bored or simple need a dose of energy.

Excellent customer service - helpful, friendly and flexible.

Easygoing experience. In order to decrease the level of confusion for those, who arrive to Fremantle by train, I believe a sign towards B shed when exiting the railway station would be greatly appreciated.

The guys from Rottnest Express took us in quickly and free of charge after Sealink simply cancelled our last ferry without informing us. They also took our bikes which we rented from Sealink. Thanks for that!

Great and friendly staff! Consistent and frequent boats to and from Rottnest island. Boats are clean and air conditioned with comfortable seats and good views.
However some things to denote -
The company likes to fully book the boats so I recommend trying to line up early to get seats with your group.
Also try and get seats on the middle and upper levels of the boat as being down on the bottom can accelerate motion sickness, even though it is only a 30 min ride from Fremantle.

Overall a great service and great company. Would highly recommend to travellers going to Rottnest island.

There is plenty to see at the market near the shed. Come an hour earlier just for that.
