Vanilla Bean

This place is great for breakfast! Staff are polite and friendly, and coffee and food came out promptly.
We each had the big breakfast, and the selection and taste was great. Toast golden brown, mushrooms were amazing and I don't even Normally like them!
Good portion sizes to fill up a guts like me 🤣.
The French guy serving us was nice to deal with and very polite too.

Very good coffee! Nice staff and a good variety of food for breakfast or lunch. I had a vegetarian burger and the bun was fresh and soft and rich filling with spinach, avocado, egg and fried haloumi.

Stuck in Fremantle for 8 hours while hubby had a day procedure. Ended up having breakfast and lunch here. Great food and excellent coffee.

Hanging out around the corner in accommodation on Arundel St and Googled “breakfast near me” and super glad Vanilla Bean popped up! Set for a day out wandering Freo and keen to fuel up on brekkie options that weren’t greasy and allowed Gluten Free choices with 3 of us having grumbly guts.

Everything put in front of us was fresh, delish and came in awesome portion sizes with us indulging in Breakfast Stack, Classic Omelette and Eggs & Toast with a few extras added. Fresh juices, a spot on iced coffee and a good old pot of tea. Over the years we’ve had many breakfast stops in Freo, and this would have to be one of the best...see you again tomorrow Vanilla Bean Team!

We visited Vanilla Bean Cafe mid morning on a Monday. There was plenty of tables available at the time. The service was excellent and friendly. The food was fantastic and we did not wait long at all. The coffee was lovely too. I highly recommend Vanilla Bean Cafe for a quick bite, friendly coffee and a large meal if that's what you are after. I will be back for sure.

I would like to thank staff at Vanilla Bean Cafe. I had a appt. at Fremantle Hospital. My arm was in cast. Ordered breakfast, the staff cut up my meal to make it easier for me. That is service. The food and coffee was delicious. Thanks guys so much. Yvonne.

Vanilla Bean is a consistently excellent coffee shop, cafe with caring staff. I have been going for over 15 years. I like it opens early from 5.30am. Well done guys, good efforts. Welcome the new management, you have arrived in a great place 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩

I had the pleasure today of having to park at the Fremantle Hospital, coin-only, carpark across the road from your cafe; and then being aggressively rebuked (while being shown your no-coin-policy taped to the counter) by a member of your staff when I asked for coin-change from the $20 that I used to purchase a florentine (that I didn’t really want).

I think you are going about this the wrong way. Instead of fighting against coin-seeking “customers” that would not have otherwise come into your delightful little cafe, you would do better to accept this demand for parking coins by not only having a ready coin supply available, but by advertising the fact that coin change will be provided with a smile with every take-away coffee purchased.

Fremantle’s dark-ages, coin-only, parking ticket machines is providing you with an opportunity to draw in customers that would not have otherwise known you existed — welcome new potential customers, don’t punish them.

Dropped by the cafe after a visit to Fremantle Hospital to grab a takeaway coffee and was very impressed with my rare find. My latte was perfectly roasted and packed a punch - regret not getting a bigger cup! Every drop of that coffee was good and I can't wait to get a cuppa next time I'm in the area. Staff were very friendly and polite, which was a bonus!

Dropped by for a takeaway coffee while visiting Fremantle hospital. The coffee was awesome and the service from the girl at the front counter was exceptional. She was bubbly, friendly and put me in a good mood for the rest of the day. Thank you 😊

I had an unexpected couple of hours to kill and happened upon this cute little coffee shop that had the best mocha I’ve ever had, a delish brekky and 12/10 service ❤

The Staff are always welcoming, great for a breakfast & terrific coffee.
This Cafe is definitely worth the small walk out of the main strip of Fremantle.

Genuine friendly service, beautiful fresh orange juice and best smashed avocado I have had. Highly recommended will definitely re visit.
