Incredible hike to Cape Raoul with a 15min detour to see Shipstern, it doesn’t get too steep or rocky, but it does have a few steps. We did it in 5 hours return with a few stops along the way. Highly recommend to do this hike as the views are just stunning.
Make sure you bring some water and some things to eat! We also spotted some wildlife.

Magnificent walk, including a short detour to view Shipstern Bluff. At the right time, surfers gather to ride some of the largest waves in the world. This is not a difficult walk, but there are quite a few steps, which test the legs. Highly recommend this

The Cape Raoul Lookout in Tasmania is an absolutely stunning spot to witness Mother Nature's incredible beauty. Its breathtaking vistas will leave you in awe of the natural wonders that surround you.

Fantastic day walk with lots of sites, you will be rewarded for going all the way to the end. It’s roughly 14km and with moderate fitness you can do it 4 hours return although budget more to take photos and take in the scenery!
Very moderate incline in the middle and a chance to see some wildlife, I saw wallabies near the start both in and out and a snake. But don’t worry they are very timid and take off at the slightest movement.

Wow what a beautiful hike! I'd highly recommend it. Trail is marked well. There is a bit of up and down, but the stunning views make it more than worth it.

Good and easy hike if you have time. A little girl in our team was able to do the trip in 5-6 hours round. If you’re tired at the slopes, go slow and notice your breath.
There are also some view points along the way:
_View 1: 45 mins from Parking lot
_View 2 with stacked rocks if they’re still there: 35 mins from v1
_View 3: 15 mins from v2
_View 4: 20 mins from v3
_View 5 (where you can find a big gap): 15 mins from v4
_View 6: 10 mins from v5
_Seal or Cape lookout: 5 mins from v6

Nice moderate walk, alternating up and down with some flat parts. Beautiful views of the coast and impressive rock formations! Worth the 4/5 hrs walk!

Long hike, plan yourself with water and good footwear. From carpark to various viewings points can take 60min - 3 hours. The views are breathtaking ...

Truly a must do hike if you have any plans for hiking in Tasmania. I tallied it at just under 15km if you do both lookouts. The trail is mostly flat except for a 1km section. I didn’t stop for lunch but I did take my time with the views and I was able to finish in 3.5 hours. Enjoy!

Fantastic views and a great walk. Takes about 5 hours return from car park. We did it just under with a few photo stops and a longer break for lunch while we enjoyed the view. It takes 1 hour to get to the first lookout that overlooks Cape Raoul. Then another 1.5 hours to get to the lookout on the tip of the cape. The whole track is well maintained and the second part has multiple switchbacks for the long downward climb to the cape plus 264 block steps. We spotted pademelons, an echidna, seals from the nearby Seal Rock Lookout and some colourful fungi on the track. Be prepared with water, food and warm clothes. Use the walkers book at the start. Enjoy!

A place to see some of Tasmania's rugged scenic coastline. A fairly decent hike out to view Cape Raoul.

This makes for a great hike, quite easy once you get over the mountain peak, and well worth the effort. Not too long, but long enough to keep the trail quiet and peaceful.

Unreal view of the cliffs! A must see while visiting Tasmania. Can see seals down at the bottom of the cliffs as well. Great hike and view point

I have rarely seen a place like this. The view really makes up for the hike down to the cape. It's one of Tasmania's most breath-taking places. Don't climb onto the different platforms around the viewpoint. It's really dangerous not only because you could fall off, but also because of the snakes hiding on the sunny, warm rocks. Also, hold on to your phone ;)

Stunning spot! Not quite as scenic as cape pillar but they’re both 10/10 for scenics

Great views over the Organ-shaped rocks of the cape and the coast line. Seal colony at the bottom of the cape. Definitely worth walking 4-5 hrs !
