These guys are the nicest people in the world we had an absolute ball on our private half day tour. The snorkelling locations were some of the best I have ever seen with such beautiful coral and wildlife. It was so refreshing to be part of a tour where the guides genuinely cared about their clients and their responsibility to the environment. If only I could go out on the water everyday with them!

What an amazing experience, which was far beyond our expectations. A fantastic opportunity to see the reef with absolute experts in everything to do with the reef. Adele was great with the kids, showing them specific corals and fish, explaining their importance and how they have grown. They showed us loads of different locations, with amazing corals. We even saw turtles, humpback whales and pilot whales. The lunch provided was nice and fresh, which, again, the kids loved. Adele and Stuart both had to do some scientific studies whilst out there, which they fully engaged the kids with to assist the submissions of their findings. A great day had by all. Thanks again.

We had an Amazing trip with thanks to Adele and Stuart, they made sure we had everything we needed for a 3 day "Castaway" Island Camping Adventure. They operate as a team like clockwork , and made the whole experience of getting in to the boat and out on the water seamless. Stuart's knowledge of the region and its destinations is so helpful and gives you a great staring off point from which to explore. Adele and Stu created a magical experience for our family of 4 ... including a nervous snorkeler (10yr old) and a little 6 yr old. Everything was included! The highlight was seeing my daughters enjoy every minute, swimming with a turtle, the abundance of magnificent fish and a fish storm, the private island, swimming around a Bommie, seeing the Giant clam and the crystal clear water. Can’t wait for our next adventure.

Great experience with this company. We had a romantic snorkeling adventure, Adele accommodated all our requests and they made sure everything was perfect. The weather wasn't the best leading up to the trip, so we're glad we had some flexibility in our planning, so we could go on the day they though was best. Overall a wonderful day and worth it. A spectacular day on the water!
Our family enjoyed the 5 hour tour that included a delicious lunch on a beautiful tiny island. We fished, swam, snorkelled, and learned so much from Adele + Stuart about Dunk Island, Bowden Island and the Family Group Islands - both history, and the natural world above and below the water.
We spied dolphins, a turtle, sea eagles, a huge array of corals, and literally hundreds of tropical fish!
The fishing is catch and release which was perfect for us.
It feels so good to support small businesses like this one… Adele + Stuart’s level of care and hospitality was incredible.
Our teenage boys really enjoyed it too, even if they did find swimming around with a floatation noodle a bit embarrassing!

Adele and Stuart were absolutely first class with their communication, friendliness and eagerness to help. Right from the very beginning to help arrange our accomodation booking to navigating the new year period with respect to sorting out our provisions for our stay on Bedarra Island (which proved difficult due to the limited operating hours of the local woolies during this time of the year). Adele had the latest updates for us and always strategy to go with it. It was nice and relaxing knowing someone local is looking out for you. Stuart was great also and provided lots on information during our trip over on the boat. Hey made sure the trip was comfortable for the kids and got us there and back on time.
We absolutely recommend and wouldn't hesitate to use MIssion Beach Charters services again when returning for holidays. We will be sure to recommend them to our family and friends.

Gday...My wife organised a 4 hour charter with Adele and Stuart as a surprise birthday gift for my 50th birthday. Adele and Stuart hit it out of the park from the onset of the day. We enjoyed a wonderful snorkelling adventure off of Bedarra Island where Adele used her knowledge as a Marine Biologist to bring the experience to another level with an education of the structures and fishes we were encountering. Lunch was a delicious Mango and Chicken salad with the odd brownie, or three to finish it off. Washed down with a lovely Apple Spritzer. Stuart's ability to position the boat over bottom structure helped with the reeling in of many fish speicies, for catch, photo and release purposes. My wife caught her first reef fish this trip so it made the charter that little more special. All in all a wonderful day was had by my wife and I. We will definately call on Adele and Stuart again to take us to another beautiful spot this region of Mission Beach has to offer. We tip our hats to you Adele and Stuart for giving us a great memory for my 50th.

Mission Beach Charters helped us (a group of 4 friends) with a Bedarra Island transfer and a snorkelling trip in July 2021. They were very responsive to our questions leading up to the trip, and so helpful and thoughtful! Adele and Stuart run a tight ship - everything ran like clockwork! We had the pleasure of dealing with Adele and Stuart from Mission Beach Charters in December 2020 as part of a holiday on Bedarra Island. They provided and exceptional service not only in transporting us to and from the island, but also collecting and transporting supplies for our stay, and a top-up part way through. They were also informative and personable in all our dealings, making the holiday even more enjoyable. Thoroughly recommended.

I planned a surprise proposal to my Girlfriend on the Barrier Reef, Coming from Sydney and never having been to North Queensland I was really sure what to do. But I rang mission beach charters after seeing their private island camping. Adele could not have been anymore helpful, she arranged everything for me down to the very last detail. From getting picked up from the airport to the seafood platter. It was perfect. Her and Stewart have an amazing boat and incredible knowledge of everything from tides and swells to the best locations to see the reef. Can not Thankyou enough for all your help in making the trip perfect for us!!
