Top of the Hill

Top of the Hill is a must stay destination, the people, the vibe, the food, the view oh my goodness! What a perfect getaway! The most comfortable bed, a quiet air conditioner, clean facilities and a scrumptious breakfast! I just loved everything about this place. Alice was the loveliest & made a gorgeous coffee. Absolutely stunning place, giving the highest recommendation!

Have stayed here twice now and both stays have been wonderful. A beautiful, quiet relaxing location with lovely staff. All highly recommend the ploughmans box, delicious!

Had an amazing experience staying at Top of the Hill. The owners were super lovely and knowledgeable on the area, they gave some great local suggestions. The rooms were tidy and well equipped, and the views were incredible. With the added bonus of breakfast included, my partner and I loved our stay here and have been recommending it to all our friends!

Thank you Greg and Barb for the fun getaway. Your cabins are very clean, beautifully designed to take advantage of the mountain views and countryside. The stars at night were so bright and we loved the relaxing spa bath. The bed was so fluffy and comfortable. We hope to return for the delicious pancakes and English breakfast

You must try this place.
The cabins are very spacious and very comfortable, the view is fantastic and the service is unparalleled. Barb and Greg are excellent hosts who accomodate your every need before you know it. By the way, Barb makes the best pancakes I have ever had and Greg makes a good cup of coffee. Barb also showed us a map of Maleny and some spots around the area and we had the best day that day. Deserve more than 5 stars. Thank you.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Top of the Hill. The location is central making it easy to explore the hinterland or just relax in the rooms and enjoy the stunning views. The rooms are great, amazing comfortable bed & spa bath. The staff are very helpful and friendly. If you are looking for a boutique experience in Maleny singles or couples will love Top of the Hill.

The best holiday we have had in a long time! Wow what a gorgeous hotel. The spa cabins are spacious, clean and have the most incredible views. We did not want to leave. Stunning and peaceful location. Breakfast service was amazing too. Barb and Greg are lovely hosts and really make you feel welcome.

My partner and I spent 3 nights here a week ago. We have been to Maleny a few times, but this time we were able to relax and see the town properly. It’s a lovely spot and Top of the Hill was a great place to stay. Very quiet and relaxing with gorgeous views and lovely cabins. Rooms were very private and comfortable and the breakfasts were great! The new managers were very friendly and couldn’t do enough for their guests. Thanks Barb and Greg, we’ll be back!

My partner and I stayed here recently for a few nights and it was fantastic. Gorgeous views from the cabin from both the bedroom and the spa bath. It was the most relaxed we’d felt in a long time, we were sad to leave! Chris and Trish were both lovely and welcoming. The breakfasts were delicious too, hats off to Chris! We will definitely be back in the future.

This is one of the best places we have ever stayed! Trish and Chris went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful; their hospitality is second to none! The included breakfasts are amazing! The bathbombs sold at reception are perfect for the spa (we brought multiple because we loved them so much). The views are beautiful! And also, we brought a picnic basket and it was so delicious (especially Chris's tomato relish and the savoury muffins) and filling. We will be back for sure! Thank you!!

We have just spent 3 nights at Top of the Hill and would recommend to others. Loved the breakfasts cooked by Chris served on the deck with a lovely view. The shower and spa with a view over rolling hills was great as was sitting out on the balcony and watching the sunset. If you want relaxation in a great location with warm and welcoming hosts, stay here.

What an absolute hidden Gem!

My husband and I treated ourselves to Top of the Hill for our ‘baby-moon’ and all we can say is ‘wow.’ We stayed in cabin #4 and were so impressed by the room to start it was very clean and had such a welcoming vibe. Then we moved onto the view, which was just perfect, the fog between the valleys and the birds chirping in the distance was just bliss. And oh my god, don’t get me started on the bed! EASILY the comfiest bed I’ve ever slept on (that’s not my own!)

The next morning we met our hosts for breakfast. The immediate calmness and safeness we felt from them is indescribable. Barb and Greg were so down to earth and easy to chat to plus they made us our breakfast and coffee each morning DELICIOUS! Those pancakes are dangerous haha.

We honestly couldn’t fault our stay here. It was exactly what we needed. Thank you Barb and Greg for everything you do, it was very much so appreciated.

We will be back!

It was a surprise as a Baby moon trip for my wife. Chris & Trish made sure it was a memorable one. It was just 1 day but Trish helped me to get best cabin with best chocolates & candles decorations. View and all facilities were amazing, super clean and romantic. Breakfast was delicious and filling. We would definitely recommend it for anyone and everyone for couple's celebrations.

This is by far the best accommodation we have stayed at! The service was really good, breakfast was good, price was reasonable for the room facilities and view. We honestly had such a great time there that we did not want to leave! They sold bath bombs which we used for the spa bath, while looking at the sunset, super magical!!

My partner and I stayed here for a wedding. Amazing views. Beautiful rooms. Beds were so comfortable, I wanted to steal the pillows! Pancakes are next level delicious. The owners were lovely and catered to our ever desire. We will definitely be back! Thanks again for having us Chris and Trish. x
