I was very fortunate to experience Debra’s morning workshop. She has created a lovely experience, beginning with a coffee and chat. The three locations- cafe, flower market and her beautiful shop, were all inspirational in their own way. Debra is warm and knowledgeable, she is a natural teacher. She made all of us feel comfortable. I attended alone but by the end of the morning felt like I was among friends. What a delight! I would highly recommend this experience as a special gift for someone who deserves a lovely time where they can focus on being creative and just have time out from everyday concerns.

Debra’s signature course was an absolute delight, I couldn’t think of a more beautiful way to spend a morning. Along with my Mum and sister we spent the morning learning how not to just play with flowers, but how to enjoy them and use them in all their natural glory.

Debra is an absolute class teacher full of knowledge and fun, as well as warm & welcoming.

When Debra said we were going to fill an ‘Urn’ with flowers, my first thought was ‘ugly’!! But within a few moments….all of my preconceived ideas were blown away with Debra’s incredible creativity, eye for detail, confidence, gentle guidance and breathtaking colour palettes. Over the four week course, the collection of women who gathered in her back room laughed together, shed the odd tear, ate delicious treats, sipped tea or bubbles, were nurtured and encouraged….and learned so much about flowers - losing ourselves in the joy and mindfulness of it each week. I could not have enjoyed myself more and was really proud of my arrangements each week - with no prior experience. This really was an experience of a lifetime and something I’m so glad I prioritised after so many years of longingly hoping to do it. Thank you Debra for pouring your heart and soul into all that you do. It’s a love job for you - and we all really felt the love!

Floral Short Course
Debra welcomes a group of like minded strangers into her beautiful workspace with openness and warmth. Over a period of 4 Saturday afternoons a camaraderie and friendship develop over a shared love of flowers.
The group is encouraging and supportive of each other, inspired by Debra who guides, educates, challenges and nurtures.
We leave each week with stunning floral arrangements, our 'souls fed' and a confidence to keep creating.

I recently finished Debra’s beginners course. i was so impressed that I intend to move onto the intermediate course as soon as I possibly can.

Each week was such an amazing experience, so much fun and always very informative. We progressed through the course learning new forms of arrangement that I never thought I’d be capable of doing myself using the most beautiful, unique, premium flowers that had been selected that morning. Each week I left feeling more and more confident and passionate about my new hobby which I have continued to practice when I can.

Even now I find my self floating back to the shop (which is beautiful) for gifts and advice or just to feel the love and inspiration that emits from the wonderful staff and Debra herself.

If have not been to the shop its self, I highly recommend popping in just to see what you’re missing out on or even to make use of the amazing talents of the staff by ordering an arrangement for a special someone or occasion , and to Debra and her gorgeous team - I can’t wait to see you again soon <3

Christmas Wreath Course
What a wonderful experience for the novice and experienced flower lover. Debra provides you with a step by step guide to making a fresh wreath and then allows you to go and create your own masterpiece. There was a abundance of fresh/ quality products and all participants were warmly welcomed into Debra’s floral world.
I was even stopped on my way back to my car by a stranger asking me where I had purchased my wreath!

I just finished the beginners floral course at the end of 2021 and boy did it finish my year on a high. I was aiming to bring out my inner creative qualities and Debra Hayes course did just that. I spotted the class in action when I went to buy some gifts from the beautiful shop front and went home and immediately researched and booked the next beginners class! I came into the course feeling a little nervous, but that immediately dissipated by Debras calm and collected nature. The class is kept small to allow for that family like feel and also allows more availability and time with Debra. She is a fantastic floral educator making you feel very comfortable to ask any and all questions during the 6 day course.
The course provides an abundance of different ways you could express your floral prowess and Debra demonstrates that there is much more to floral design then casually bunching up a selection of flowers and greenery. Debra has well thought out recipes for each weeks arrangement, which bring out the best in each flower or plant, chosen for the class at hand. Flower arranging takes a lot of patience and practice and I am so glad I got to experience being taught by one of the best in the business.

I cant wait to book another course this year!

I was eager to start the Beginners Floral course with Debra Hayes. Debra's experience and reputation in the industry I understood to be legendary. For me personally, I was drawn to the beauty of her style and a learning environment that was intimate and hands on.

Little did I know that I would be igniting a whole new passion and further love of flowers. The group of ladies in my class were a true joy to be around, and what I didn't expect, but was so touched by, was the genuinely nurturing space that Deb has created in both her gift shop and her teaching space. I left each week feeling thoroughly spoilt and uplifted.

I cannot wait to begin the Intermediate Course, so much so, that in the meantime I have booked into several of Deb's 1 Day workshops to keep my skills up, my new passion expressed and to have the cheeky excuse to roam her gift shop and purchase something gorgeous.

Living in Houston Texas, it was extremely difficult to know which business to trust to deliver the perfect flowers. Debra’s reviews were the first qualifier, her exceptional communication skills, never promising to deliver a flower that hadn’t been available at the market was the deciding factor. Totally honest about availability, in the end the perfect flowers were delivered. Feedback from recipients was the most beautiful flowers they’ve received. I can’t say enough about Debra, she kept in touch, despite the crazy time zones and never made promises she couldn’t keep. Take the stress out of overseas ordering - 100% satisfaction.

Debra made the most wonderful bouquet and gift package for my aunt's 91st birthday recently. Debra, I popped in earlier today and bought those beautiful orange tulips in the carrier with the chocolate & the curved pale green plant & pot.
Well.. what can I say.. there is something that words just cannot describe that when you gift someone something so beautiful and their face just lights up!!

I did a workshop with Deb a couple of months ago and was very impressed with the whole thing! Very organised set up and Deb was so friendly and helpful. She gave a lot of handy tips and was happy to answer any questions from the class. I left with a much better understanding of flowers and feeling so proud of the wonderful posy I was able to create with her guidance. Just did a floral class for my birthday and I am in love! The class was so fun & it was so cool to be able to go to the shops to buy your own flowers & design the flowers by yourself to represent your own personal style. Lovely teacher & a wholesome experience ✨💜
