I went to try Nepalese food for the first time and I kid you not, it was bussin bussin respectfully 🤪 We got the naan, tried pani puri, tikka masala and momos. First dish was the pani puri and it was bursting (literally) with flavour and the seasoned water. The tikka masala was rich and lovely, and I paired that with the naan. Last stop, we got the vegetarian momos and that had a really big kick to it (the spice was getting to me). Of course we didn't eat all of the food so I saved some for dinner 🤣

Overall, I would definitely come back to this restaurant!

Updated! This was my 7th visit to Namaste Restaurant. The food here is delicious and very well priced. I've had the Buff Chow Mein, Chicken Chow Mein, Thali plate, Veg Pakoda, and Chicken Momos (steamed and fried). All very tasty and good portion sizes.

They have updated the decor internally with lots of prayer flags. On Thursday night we had a guitarist and singer doing live music which was nice.

I think this business would do well with some advertised lunch specials on the window that include a drink to be more competitive with other restaurants nearby.

Best Nepalese Resturant I’ve been so for !

Finally a nepalese restaurant has opening in Strathfield. And damn the food is really good. Tried momo, biryani and newari khana set. The owner and staffs are very humble and friendly.
Highly recommended.

The Namaste Restaurent is awesome place to have authentic Nepali Indian cuisine.. specially Biryani is yummy 😋

We tried momo ,chowmein and fried rice on the menu and it was very satisfying.
Food was fresh and tasted authentic.

Best Nepalese food in Sydney

I was here. There is a lot of love and passion in that place. The Owner and the Stuff are very polite and they want their guests to feel comfortable and satisfied in the first place. Great food and great place to spend time with friends and family.

A delightful dining experience at a great price. I ate here with a friend. We shared a Biryani rice and momo dumpling platter. For $20 each, there was more than enough food and it was delicious. The service was friendly. The only negative was the waitress mistaking our buffalo momo order for chicken, but fortunately the chicken momo was excellent.

Will definitely be dining here again in future.

I have been in this place before. Before when the restaurant was at it lowest. Now after change in Management i am really happy that they have improved and are now even competing with other top notch Nepalese restaurant. 4.5 stars for the food and 4for the atmosphere. I think atmosphere could be far more better. Lot of potential. Good luck guys ⚡

Just strolled past this restaurant looking for somewhere to eat. I am not really familiar with this cuisine but was so pleasantly delighted by our experience here.
We were welcomed by Babish who walked us through his top recommendations on the menu in detail. He was so kind and generous, even presenting us with a complimentary tasting of a Nepalese dish as we have never had this cuisine before.

The service was amazing and food was delicious, we were very impressed. I will definitely be back and absolutely recommend you pay this restaurant a visit
