Dondon's Tteokbokki left a lasting impression with its perfect balance of sweet and spicy flavors. The chewy rice cakes were cooked to perfection, creating a delightful texture. The portion size was generous, and the friendly service added to the overall positive experience. A must-try for anyone craving delicious Korean street food!

I highly recommend Don Don Korean restaurant that serves a variety of Korean dishes quickly and deliciously. The food is not only tasty but also comes in generous portions, and the prices are reasonable. Moreover, despite being busy, the service at the restaurant is excellent, and the staff is very friendly. For foreigners and parents with children who are unsure about what Korean food to try, this restaurant is the perfect choice!

Can never go wrong with this conveniently located restaurant in the city to satisfy your cravings for Korean food!! The tteokbokki is the perfect amount of spicy and sweet - it’s a must get dish every time I go here. Cold noodles were delicious, everything else was on point too. Side dishes are also refillable at a self serve station which makes life a whole lot easier. Defs recommend!

Nice pork leg, strong recommend. However, it’s too much for two people. Hope there will be down size. Rice ball and fried chicken is on average taste, not must eat. We order 107 in total for two, but take away a lot. Can be one more meal for two again.

Good Korean traditional food. I love the clams noodles so much, and the small dishes which they give them for free are pretty nice as well. It’s a good place for people who working nearby and who go shopping in city and wanna try some fast and nice food. This restaurant is a good choice. One more thing is, all the staffs here are very nice and friendly.

Food is great. Can refill side dishes by ourselves. But there is no service. The waitress doesnt smile. Go in, get seated, scan qr code, order by phone, then they start serving.

No complaint on the food. Just feel weird with the service. Many notices around too, e.g. 2 hrs limit, no outside food/drink, etc. Nothing too wrong but dont feel very nice too. I believe eating at a restaurant is not just solely about the food.

Very nice area and have a good variation of food to choose from. I ordered the cold noodles and spicy chicken feet which are all very good. A bit of queue if you go during peak hours.

Our all time favorite non-BBQ Korean restaurant! Spicy jo pal and mixed cold noodles are soooo great! Highly recommend the set menu! Very large portion that is enough for three people!

I rate this restaurant 5 star because of the value for money. It’s so cheap for the amount of food you get and most importantly they taste really good! We went in a group of 6. It costs only 21 bucks each person. They are popular for their pork knuckle. We ordered the original flavour. The meat is so well cooked and seasoned. No fault in it. The garlic fried chicken is quite juicy too. If you don’t like sweetness in your savoury dish, you might not enjoy it as much though. The original chicken is ok. We found it a bit dry. Cold noodles is also recommended. Potato noodles is tasty but again you won’t enjoy it if you don’t like that sweetness. The environment isn’t as clean but it’s not a fancy restaurant so you can’t expect that. Overall it’s a highly recommended for cheap Korean eats.

Ordered the beef doenjang jjigae and steamed egg. The steamed egg had a really nice broth. The doenjang was a little salty for my taste but super delicious and great with rice. The side dishes were good and the kimchi was well fermented. The staff were all really nice and it seems they had containers you can use to takeaway leftovers. Will definitely come back next time I'm in Sydney.

Quite a large restaurant with plenty of seating available.

You order via a QR code and pay at the counter.

Food was served not long after ordering and was delicious. The chicken was crunchy and had plenty of flavouring. The black bean noodles were covered in sauce and had more than enough to cover all the noodles. Serving sizes were huge and we had trouble finishing the food.
Side dishes were also provided. The first round the servers will bring over and you can self refill at the refill station.

Overall, a good experience and will definitely be back to try some of the other dishes.

One of my favourite places for Korean food in Sydney.
And probably one of the best Korean Fried chicken you can get anywhere.

Try out their spicy beef soup as well!

Authentic korean food!

Restaurant is located at 2nd floor. Entrance is not that obvious.

It's my first time to see so many different side dishes.

All soups are sensational and tasty.

Don Don is a must-visit! My second time here was just as amazing as the first. The egg steam dish is unreal – The rice ball is sooooooo goooooooood, and the hotpot broth is truly sensational.

If you're a fan of Korean food, you don't want to miss this place. Can't wait to go back for more! 💕💕

I’ve visited this place more than thrice in a year & it’s always been my go-to place in the CBD for value-for-money, amazing Korean food. I’ve introduced this place to my friends and they themselves have returned too. Portion size is big. Fried chicken is a MUST order for every visit. Gets really crowded during peak hours though.

Thank you for Jun's service. He was very friendly and enthusiastic. Yi and I had a wonderful honeymoon because of his service. We will definitely come back here for dining next time.

Sort of hidden restaurant accessed via an elevator off George street.

I really like their reasonably priced lunch options. Their hot and cold noodles are all good, bibimbap tasty, pork bone soup a favourite and filling and a big range of pork dishes like bossam and pork trotters.

It is not a very big restaurant and it can get quite busy but worth the wait.

Edit: this has easily become one of my go to korean spots for great food. I really enjoy their banchan and kimchi. They now use a qr code scanning thing to look at the menu. Easy to use. Recently had a set menu and it was perfect. So yummy.
